Analysis of Iran's Open Letter to America?
Two days ago, the Iranian Regime wrote an open letter to the American people. Who has done a good fact checking it? They make some wild claims that come down to: the US is losing; as a result, the US is finding a way to retreat from the Middle East. This is the beginning of the downfall of the US. They then make their case for Islam; say the Israeli's (Jews) control the US government (the same thing said by neo nazi's in the 1990's who called it ZOG - Zionist Occupied Government), and give their reasons for hating America. All the while saying they don't hate Americans, by saying they are poor, oppressed Iranians who only hate the oppressors. This is an artful form of propaganda with truth mixed in with lies. Our young adults who "rediscovered" Bin Laden's "Letter to America" and thought he "had a point" are going to LOVE this. Who's doing a full analysis of it?

Two notes to make on the letter. I haven’t read it in full yet. But in a short clip I watched, I saw that this letter mentions Jesus coming and the Mahdi, and how the IRGC wants Americans to stand side by side with them in peace when those “return” and usher in peace. The desperation they must feel to try and bring Jesus into it is very telling. 2- I think this letter ties trumps hands politically until after midterms. And they may have been before, but certainly now.if he strikes now it seems like he’s just mad about the letter and it must be because the letter is right and the IRGC is right. 3- this letter coming on the back of a few terror attacks is very smart actually. And they watched how the left love osama bin Laden after his letter, I have ZERO doubts that this led to them writing oke themselves. I searched and found various channels talking about it (didn’t watch yet) but on Liberty Politics we haven’t done a deep dive.

@Daniel Bell it went extremely viral and was more than a few, but of course doesn’t mean everyone. I was still a democrat at that time and was horrified.

I can see a world in which producers didn’t tell this man the women would be waltzing in not looking very traditional… producers love the dramatic reality TV hit. If he has emails or anything showing that he understood a woman was coming in to reconnect with the church, I think he Shiuld be off the hook frankly. I’m not Christian so I don’t have any dogs in the race but producers are definitely like that…. I can’t imagine he would be like yes, bring them in slutty dresses and parade them in front of the congregation. It’ll be an awesome surprise. Seems clear it was a misunderstanding but holy hell the drama he’s caught in now!!!

This man is extremely quotable! I’m trying to not be negative Nancy but now days when I hear him I’m less excited over him, and more disappointed in everyone else. The moral and historical clarity has me annoyed with the rest of the planet who doesn’t speak this way. Theres an honesty of a person who actually wants to get to the issues. I uploaded a short excerpt of Pierre Poilievre’s remarks at the “Cyrus the Great II” gathering in Toronto that happened about a week ago. For those who don't know, Polievre is Canada's official opposition leader. I'd recommend watching the entire speech. What stands out to me about his speech is that he isn't merely expressing sympathy for Iranians. He references the Lion and Sun directly and publicly says that he hopes to one day raise the Canadian flag in Iran; this makes his message much more politically significant than a generic diplomatic statement. In the clip, Poilievre is essentially presenting freedom not as something a government gives people, but as something inherited from previous generations and entrusted to future ones. That was very powerful.
