I currently work in a Paint Manufacturing company as Sales Analytics & Business Intelligence Manager. A few months ago, our sales officers were calculating landed prices from MRP by hand or in excel - juggling MRPs, discount structures, and payment terms across dozens of Products, for Trade sales officers in the field. It was slow, error-prone, and left no room for real-time decisions. So I built a Landed Price Calculator from the ground up with the help of AI, designed to give every sales officer accurate pricing. While working on this project, from designing the whole calculator/structure, from managing the Admin Panel in Local Hosting, from managing the database, to deploying the site and all I took step by step help from Claude. This week, this work and I were recognized with the Employee of the Month. Though this tool might look small to you guys but it really helped the people out there in the field. Their positive feedbacks kept me motivated and really wanted to share this acievement with you beatiful souls.

After joining this community and studying with free resources, now everytime I feel like I can build something in real. Previously I used to feel very demotivated or had no aim what or how to proceed, but honestly now I feel like, yeah I'm on right track with right people. Motivation and right group of people are the key in this learning jorney.

I want enough curiosity to spot a better tool... without turning the stack into a weekly science experiment. That's a harder balance than it sounds in AI right now...lol. What's your rule for adopting something new?

Hi, I'm excited to learn how to start a new AI consulting business. (Not the technical side, which I hope this will help me understand what I need to do.) I bugged ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Perplexity because I kept running out of credits for 8 days trying to explain what I wanted to do with AI, and it finally led me to this website. I am grateful. I am 53 years old (yes, my name is Karyn - not the best name to have these days), married for 33 years, have 4 adult kids now, and I train and own Clydesdales and have many little dogs. I live in Colorado, USA. I have owned a few small, different businesses in the past, but I am ready to start something new. The profile picture is my actual horse, just with bling from AI. Let the fun begin!

Really enjoying the free courses in Classroom. Just completed the first step of success. After completing this, I'm kinda confused on what to chose, Audit or Automation. From my professional experience I am more into Auditing and finding solution for any problem. But I also like building things, as I've built something on my own and it really feels outstanding when my builds work. Guys can you suggest me what to chose for now?
