Do What Others Won't: How to Make Your Community Unignorable
if you're copying someone else's formula, there is no way you stand out. templates are great. "what works" is great. but when your community looks like everyone else's, you compete on price. and competing on price is a race to the bottom. not the race you want to be in. John Hegarty wrote it on a Levi's ad in 1982: "when the world zigs, zag." a black sheep walking against a flock of white ones. that's the whole strategy. especially when you're starting out — focus on what other people don't do. automations save you time. i use them. but they suck the soul out of interactions. they'll save you hours and keep you dry. your goal in the beginning isn't efficiency. it's to get people to love you. to turn them into ambassadors. the famous 100-1000 true fans. the key word is FANS, not the number. you don't get fans by being optimized. you get fans by doing the crazy stuff nobody else will bother with. here's what that looks like for me: - everyone celebrates wins. i celebrate failures. - people run calls in their own time zone. i run mine to catch my APAC friends and my US/Canada friends. even if one person shows up in the Community Income Mastermind. - i send personal welcome messages, not automated ones. and when i do send an automated message, i tell you it's automated. - i offer 1:1 welcome calls in a free community. makes zero sense on a spreadsheet. makes total sense to the person on the call. - i publish my real numbers - conversion rates, retention, the maths - including the unflattering ones. - i answer questions with a recorded video when a text reply would take two minutes. because you hearing my voice is worth more than my two minutes. none of this my competitors do. that's the point. when you do what others won't or don't, you stop competing on price. you become UNIGNORABLE. you stand the f*ck out. what do you already do differently?

@Red Seh Open door? Are we talking about the countless "thank yous" in my community here? Sorry to say, but they don't feel like an open door. They rather give me bot vibes. And I still doubt you have the slightest interest in learning German. So what is this, honestly? Some kind of bet? A game? A social experiment? 🤔

@Red Seh FINALLY! 😅
BIG NEWS on Skool | the Axe Verdict
finally, we got something other than GB 😜 💥 BIG NEWS: Skool introduced native reviews! but please don't run deleting your profiles elsewhere, continue reading. ⚠️ UPDATE: i just realized that every community you left a review, has a link in that review, and when ppl click and join that community, i think they will be marked "Skool Network" and Skool will get 30% if GB is turned on 🤔 ℹ️ few things to note about reviews: - you can edit or delete the review that you've left. GOOD! - you can only leave 1 review per community. i can live with that - because you can edit your previous review. - your reviews are gonna be shown on your profile. so, if you are toxic and like to poo-poo on ppl, it will be visible. - owners and admins cannot leave reviews for their community - you can leave a review only after 30 days. make sense. - only paying RECURRING members can leave reviews (not free, not one-off). this sucks if your model is not MRR driven. - you can start leaving reviews and collecting reviews, but they will not be shown to NON-members. Skool wants to collect some reviews, and slowly turn them on (testing first), so that it does not damage your conversion rates. SMART! - if you offer incentives for review (courses, discounts, lollypops - Sam's words, not mine), you will get a BIG RED warning on your about page. this one is a bit shady for me... like, how would Skool know? are they checking DMs? posts inside my community? what about confidentiality? hm🤔 - more updates for this feature is coming. so, i hope they fix some of the things e.g. one-off paying members leaving a review now, the big question - should you focus on Skool reviews only now or not? thanks to Matt (founder of ProveWorth platform) who explained it very well in the video - go and check it out if you are member, if not - join his community, cause it worth it!

@Lidia Axe Yes, that's right. But they also exclude one time payments. Doesn't seem fair to me.
I plan to grow to 1k in August. Do you want to know WHY & HOW?
i am gonna use a dirty marketing tactic. i know, i know... UPDATE: we are above 100 comment. here is the event. check your eligibility. it is very easy to get there. trust me. see you there if i get 100 comments under this post 🤦🏻‍♀️, i will do a live/recording available to everyone at lvl 3+ ONLY 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ - the Hackers (check here) and explain the how and the why and answer all your questions. only 3 things to do: - comment below anything, even if you hate it - tell me - check your current level here and if you are not lvl 3, then - get there - it is simple - post, comment, watch a calendar 🤭... do the thing that you are supposed to do as a good community member... it is controversial (in my playbook) yet, i am doing it. cause nothing off limits if it helps my members to get results. cause that's the ultimate goal.

About Page Clinic Weekend is LIVE
🔥 UPDATE: 15 Spaces LEFT 🔥 is your About Page losing you members right now? you spend time bringing traffic to your About Page: - content - networking - improving engagement /ranking but if your About Page is not converting, it's like pouring water into a leaky bucket. your About Page has one job and one job only: make someone think "this is for me" in 3 seconds. and if it's not doing that? every person who lands on your community and doesn't join. i've reviewed hundreds of about pages at this point. and the same mistakes come up over and over: - too long - too vague - no clear avatar - no urgency to join - no reason to trust you - no promise or clear outcome so i'm doing something about it. this weekend i'm running the About Page Clinic. you submit your about page. i rewrite it for conversion. and propose some design changes. that's it. no fluff. no 47-step framework. just a better about page by Monday. here's how it works: - fill out a short submission form (takes 5 min) - i personally review and rewrite your about page (might ask you some follow up questions) 20 spots. that's it. i'm capping it because every submission gets personal time&attention. when they're gone, they're gone. $25 to get it or just become a premium member at $5/m. it's a good deal, i tell you. and if you are not happy, i will give you your money back. cool? join here or if not, let me know below "why not" ⬇️
