No wonder they are shutting down Skool Games...
well, kinda. in the last Skool news, they said, they are changing it. so, not really closing. but... i have always been skeptical about Games and even about Leaderboard/Gamification, in general. i always say "be clear what you are trying to achieve". here are the things i would NEVER do in this or any other of my groups: - ask for engagement for the sake of engagement (for my star badge or discovery rank) - ask people to buy from me because i need to win the games or smth - in general, do things that benefit me/community, but not my ppl or ppl in their communities i hope you know my formula for any activity i organize: WIN-WIN-WIN - i win - you win - your ppl win that just makes every decision so much easier for me. and i don't get distracted by any "game" that is introduced. hence, i was not surprised to hear Eva Raposa's talk (founder of Focused Founders) about winning Skool games and the truth that nobody tells (the video should start at 1:17:15 for her talk). now think about all the ppl who did not win: pretty harsh "hangover", i suppose. ps great Skoolx Public Speaking Competition. missed it last time. for sure will try to get to the next round, cause TedEx speech is on my wish list.

Very well said. I agree. I’m curious about the changes and to be honest I didn’t get the games. It seemed like something only boys would play.

♨️ Hot Seat Marathon TODAY - 1 April - Logistics
Hey, hey, beautiful ppl! Here is the reminder about today's hot seat marathon (as a bonus/celebration of 207 members in 23 days). Now, we outdone ourselves and reached 284 in 31 days. CRAAAZYYY Success! Anyway, I will be available for 3 hours today to answer any question, to troubleshoot any roadblock for you all for free = this is my way to give back to you for joining, for commenting, for participating. HOW DO WE DO THIS - We will use Skool call facilities (I think it improves engagement/ranking, I don't know for sure, let's see). - I will be online ... for 3 hours! Cool, right? Just to show you that sometimes it required resilience and determination!!! Even if no-one there. Are you planning to join? ⬇️

If you joined this community, you’re not a consumer. You’re an action taker. Most people talk about building a community. You decided to build one. 👉🏻 So first things first: TAKE ACTION! STEP 1. Introduce yourself in the comments here: - Who you are - The outcome you want in 30 days - Your current stage (idea / validating / building / live) . PLS USE the poll or in the comment STEP 2. Do NOT Launch Yet (If You Haven’t) If you haven’t created your Skool community, pause. Action does not mean rushing. Start with Day 1 inside the Classroom and move in order. Clarity → Launch. STEP 3. Questions so far? Post them here or as a separate post in the Q&A category. Or in the relevant step. Public questions help everyone move faster. The rules are simple: - There are no stupid questions - The only stupid questions are those not asked No silent observers here. You joined because you want results. Let’s begin.
