Hey everyone, my website is now live: https://tracksideaisystems.com I'm building Trackside AI Systems, an AI text-message assistant for automotive service shops (detailing, tint, wraps, PPF). It answers leads, handles pricing and availability questions, and moves people toward booking, so shops stop losing customers when staff are busy. I built the site with Claude Code, React, Tailwind and Motion, and it's hosted on Cloudflare Pages. I'm a high school senior working on this alongside school. I'm open to any tips, especially on: - Clarity: does it explain what Trackside does within a few seconds? - Design and mobile experience - Anything that feels confusing or unconvincing to a shop owner If you've landed a first client for a service business, I'd love to hear how you found them and what worked in outreach. A lot of AI automation builds look impressive because they have dozens of nodes, multiple AI agents, and complicated workflows. But complexity doesn’t automatically mean value. In real client systems, I’ve found that the important questions are: - What happens when data is missing? - What if the AI returns the wrong format? - How are duplicates handled? - What happens when an API fails? - When should a human take over? - Can the business actually measure the result? A simple workflow that reliably saves time, recovers leads, updates the CRM, and handles failures is often more valuable than a huge “AI agent” with 100+ nodes. Build for the business outcome first. Add complexity only when it actually solves a problem.
