Josh and his Greystones Utd team had a season opener this morning away v Bohemians FC. A very wet day for a game but both sides battled well. Josh played some great distribution football and made some necessary saves when needed. A very physical team Bohemians. Both teams dug in until the final whistle resulting in a 3-3 away draw. Very positive start for the lads. 👏👏🧤⚽️

Josh and his U15 Greystones Utd Prem team continued their pre season by welcoming an U14 League of Ireland development squad from Bohemians FC this morning. Some outstanding football played and some great skill on display. A very well organised Bohemians with some great chances but Josh kept them out with some great saves. Chances at both ends for both sides with the score eventually running to a 0-0 draw. Lots of improvement and a fab display from Josh at the back. The prep continues ready for a season opener next Saturday.

Josh and the lads had a run out today with an internal match v our U16s Major team. Some great battling from both sides and Josh making some crucial saves to keep the score level going into the break. All to play for in the 2nd half and a great 2nd half goal for us and another clean sheet for Josh as they ran out 1-0 winners on the day. U15 Prem 1-0 U16 major. Another game lined upfor tomorrow v Bohemians Fc. ⚽️🧤

Josh played a year up this morning for the U16 Maj 1v Peamount United as their keeper is away on hols. The team played really well and although he didnt know the lads Josh had a great game. Almost a clean sheet but a late goal for Peamount resulting in a positive 4-1 win for Josh & the lads. ⚽️🧤
