You tried the self-love routines. They quit the day your energy did. For mid-life women with chronic illness, a practice built to actually hold. 🌙

You're not lazy. It's not a willpower problem.
If you've got a drawer full of journals, affirmation cards, and planners you meant to use, you're not lazy. Most self-love advice is written for people with steady energy, and yours isn't steady. That's why I started Sacred Self Sanctuary: a free community for midlife women with chronic illness or neurodivergence who want to create a sustainable self-love practice. Here's what you'll find inside: - A daily oracle card and affirmation - Weekly journal prompts you can answer in one sentence or a full page - A Sunday poll to check in with your energy - Real conversations with women who understand fluctuating capacity You don't have to be consistent, positive, or "doing the work." Show up when you can.🌙 https://www.skool.com/sacred-self-sanctuary-1128/about

Do you ever hear a voice that says you haven't earned rest yet?
Do you ever hear a voice that says you haven't earned rest yet? Or one that turns a missed practice into proof you're failing? Or one that compares your real, lived life to someone else's curated one? It isn't a flaw in you. Your inner critic is usually a voice you learned early, from caregivers, culture, or places where criticism felt like motivation or safety. It believes it's helping. It's just very loud, and it's wrong about what you need. Join me for a live workshop Self-Compassion & the Inner Critic. It will be on Zoom. If you want access to the replay because you can't be there or you just want to watch it again, the replay will be in my community, Sacred Self Sanctuary https://www.skool.com/sacred-self-sanctuary-1128/about We'll look at: - Where your inner critic really comes from - How it shows up in your self-love practice - Why self-compassion isn't the same as letting yourself off the hook - How to talk back without fighting, with a simple question you can use in the moment and a companion tool to take with you You won't silence it forever, but you'll stop mistaking it for the truth. You're welcome to just listen if that's all your energy allows, and I'll share the slides afterward. 📅 Monday, October 12 at 11am Central It's free, and everyone is welcome. 💜 https://us06web.zoom.us/j/85400092091

@Heather Wilson @Des Dreckett lol you two! Yes, I have it on the calendar in there. I did forget to make a post about it in SED though so thanks for reminding me!
Your self-love practice assumed steady energy. Low Tide doesn't.
If you've ever struggled with a self-love practice because your energy fluctuates day to day, this is for you. I struggle with it too. I have chronic illness, anxiety, depression, and I'm neurodivergent. I created the Low Tide Method as a way for women like us to build a practice we can actually do day-to-day, even on bad days. I teach it in Low Tide, a self-paced course I created that includes modules on building a practice for 3 different energy levels and how to deal with missing days without guilt or shame. In the course, you get: ✨ A one-on-one with me ✨ 2 monthly group Zoom calls while you're in the course ✨ 7 modules with videos and workbooks that are not overwhelming ✨ 100 practices organized by energy level You can always message me with questions or if you need help. I recommend taking about 2 weeks per module, but you go at your own pace. Take as much or as little time as you need. The founding rate for the first 7 who sign up is $347 through October 5. Then it goes to $497. Payment is through Stripe, which has payment methods available that let you break it into payments. To get more info or enroll, go to: https://www.sacredfoxstudio.org/low-tide

@Miri Campbell I'm with you on the Skool Scale Camp recommendation. I joined fairly recently. I'd love to grow that fast! Now sure how though. Going through the classrooms in Brenda's group.

@Ronda Del Boccio Thank you! 💜 Come join me at the Sanctuary!
Wile E. Coyote never fell the second he ran off the cliff.
Wile E. Coyote never fell the second he ran off the cliff. He kept going. Legs spinning, nothing under him, totally fine. Then he looked down. If you've ever pushed through something, felt fine and then crashed hours or days later, that has a name: Post-exertional malaise. It's a documented pattern in fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome. A delayed crash, way out of proportion to the effort that caused it. It's not ordinary tiredness. Willpower doesn't touch it. You didn't crash because you were careless. Your body was running on a delay. Worst Day First was built for you. $347 only until Oct 5th. More info at: https://www.sacredfoxstudio.org/worst-day-first It's housed inside my community, Sacred Self Sanctuary, so feel free to join! https://www.skool.com/sacred-self-sanctuary-1128/about
