That cream linen with the olive and burnt copper is clean. Good luck with the karaoke tonight — better results incoming, brother.
A little preparation to help with the mornings
This is what I do every Day/Evening to prepare for the next day. It save me (especially at 4am Monday) from rummaging through my wardrobe looking for clothing in a hurry and potentially forgetting something or worse mismatching an outfit 🤭🤭 Its just little things like this that help to set the next day with intention. Plus it also shows thew outfit details together and if they will work for your day.

That's the move, man. Outfit prep the night before takes the friction out of your morning and sets the whole day with intention. No rush, no second-guessing — you're already ahead before 5am hits.
Ties optional?
I have been interviewing lately for senior level executive positions and it seems like nobody is wearing ties any more. Is that a thing? Just dress shirts and jacket but no tie?

Right answer. A suit isn't 'too much' for senior-level interviews — it's what you lead with. Open collar or knit polo under the jacket reads sharp and confident. You'll stand out the right way, man.
Respect the fish
Our fishing guide who was wearing a tweed tie with his tattersall shirt and herringbone tweed cap was impressed when I showed up in a tie as well and said that it is how one should show respect to the fish. I said I wore it in respect of him. Since he used to manage an Orvis store he liked my Orvis flannel as well. We fished a beautiful Beat ( a reserved section of private water) of a few kilometers. The reddish black water looked like flowing Guinness😋. We stopped for lunch and he asked if he should out on a kettle or would we rather have coffee. He also poured us a dram of whisky. Although I’ve been fly fishing for over 36 years I learned how to do a proper European nymph fishing technique with a 2Wt rod set up (caught a small salmon!). We were fishing for wild brown trout. Unbelievable day!

That's how it's done. Showing respect to both the fish and the guide — that's leadership, brother. 36 years of fishing and still learning European nymph technique? Now that's the mark of a man who stays sharp.

That Ariat boot combo is sharp, man. Perfect for a day that calls for something practical but still dressed.
