Hello and welcome. When you get a chance, check out the classes available in this community.
Missing Years
Dr Ed, I'm 65 and have been paying in since 1975. Following your advice I check to make sure all my years have been counted for the top 35. It appears as I'm missing one year and that was in 1976 while i was in High School. Will that interfere with my benefit ?

There’s not enough information to guide you very well. Your income might have been highly variable. If 1976’s income is important, then fix it, certainly. 65 is the age to sign up for Medicare. How does that figure into your calculations?
I turn full retirement age, January 22, 2027
I’m going to file for my Social security to start January 2027. I will still be working till January 2028. Since I turned 67 full retirement age on January 22 of 2027 will the $65,160 earnings limit still affect me for one month or am I earnings free since I turned 67 in January 2027? I don’t have a clue if any of that made sense.

Have you had a chance to watch any of the classes? There’s one called “Common Mistakes & Regrets!” Under “When to start…” You can start retirement but I’m not sure why if your income is satisfactory. Your SSA benefits can be limited and taxed and your Medicare premiums can go up. Why not delay your retirement another year and gain the 8% increase on benefits at age 68?
When to start benefits
Planning to start taking Social Security benefits at age 70 in May 2027. Are there any risks in waiting to start benefits then due to possible changes coming in the Social Security system?

@Win James 67 is the Full Retirement Age (FRA) for those born in 1960 or later. Benefits continue to increase until age 70.
