Pheromone-Maxxing
https://nypost.com/2026/08/30/lifestyle/gen-z-men-are-skipping-showers-in-pheromone-maxxing-dating-trend/ "A new trend has some men skipping their usual hygiene routines before meeting a prospective partner. So-called “pheromone-maxxing” is a viral TikTok trend primarily associated with teen boys and young men that involves skipping showers and deodorant before a date. " I mean...it's scent related, right?
Ambroxan Sensitivity
I've talked before how certain fragrances have led to me getting powerful headaches. In particular, Imagination, L'Emmensite, and a few others. I've been documenting the notes of everything when I get a headache like that, and then talked with my doctor about it. We did a couple of sensitivity tests, and it turns out I am sensitive to Ambroxan, especially in higher doses. Turns out my body was trying to tell me something when I was expressing a dislike for a lot of Blue fragrances like Sauvage, Bleu de Chanel, Tygar, Ganymede, etc. That "grapefruit" accord that was giving me such a hard time seems to be especially present in these fragrances and is how my brain is interpreting the smell. I figured I would share with y'all in case anyone else is experiencing the same issue. Listen to what your body is telling you. That visceral reaction may be more than just a simple dislike of something.

@Stephen DeMent We can let Juliette Has a Gun not a Perfume have that. Am I right? (PS - That's my Mom's fav and she was surprised I could make her a 3 ml batch for about $0.80.)

@Stephen DeMent Excellent. There is a slight "powder" difference between Not A Perfume vs. Cetalox/Ambroxan 10% but it's close. I get my source materials from Perfumer Apprentice.

What Does Sandalwood Smell Like? | Mysore vs Australian vs New Caledonian vs Javanol
Sandalwood is one of perfumery’s most important materials - but what does it actually smell like? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IIEAdkNym8o

Ambergris: What Does It Actually Smell Like? (Real vs Synthetic)
Explore one of perfumery’s most mysterious and misunderstood materials - ambergris. Formed inside the digestive system of sperm whales and transformed by years at sea, it’s been prized for centuries not just for its scent, but for what it does to a fragrance. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PduV2llkLKQ

🚨Nerd Alert!🚨 I just realized the formula has elements of the first movie in it. - Hand cream (It puts the lotion on it's skin...) - Raw Ambergris base (Lecter’s refined, extravagant tastes) - Tennessee Lavender (Catherine is kidnapped in Tennessee) - Trace of Fleece (Have the lambs stop screaming?)
