Monday Reflection 🧤
Each Monday, I want you to share your reflections from your game over the weekend — or your training session if you did not play. Tell us what you felt went well, but also be honest about what did not go so well. If you made a mistake, share: 1. What happened? 2. What could you have done differently? Remember, every mistake can be turned into a positive if you learn from it and move on. If everyone shares their reflections, comments on each other's posts and offers support or advice, I genuinely believe Monday Reflection could become one of the most powerful parts of this community. It gives you the chance to look back, learn, make small adjustments and improve your game week after week. So, how did your weekend go? Share your game or training reflections below. Ray

@Emily Hart honestly your not alone there haha, but I personally think they’d be very silly to drop you for that one mistake, I was thinking the same on my first game of the season, I let it play on my mind all game and all weekend but a few of my friends and teammates reassured me that I wouldn’t get dropped for these two mistakes as I made some good saves and played will. So my advice would let it go and move forward learn from it and I ca guarantee you’ll be fine and keep that position

@Emily Hart no problem I may not be as experienced as some others but I’m happy to share any knowledge and support I have 😁
SUCCESS Sunday - What Was Your Win This Week?
Each week, I invite you to share your biggest win. This isn't about the scoreline, but rather what aspects of your goalkeeping you improved or what new product you got to enhance your game. Additionally, can you name three things you are grateful for? These don't have to be goalkeeper-related. The reason I do this is simple: everyone has tough weeks. Reflecting on and writing down your recent wins and what you're grateful for is a PROVEN way to realise that life is pretty great and you're a very lucky person. To get you started, here’s my win and what I'm thankful for this week: MY WIN: Getting over 7800 members and growing in this community, WHAT I AM GRATEFUL FOR: 1. Finishing the new J4K Path to Pro website 2. Having some down time to relax 3. Adding another 7 goalkeepers to the J4K goalkeeper glove sponsorship program. Share your win below and what you’re grateful for. Let's keep INSPIRING each other - Comment below, whats your wins.👇👇👇 And Remember, you are ALOT better off than what you may think ❤️ Ray

Unsupportive School
Just interested to know what you would do if you were in the same position. Gemma has been offered a contract with a PGA club, which is amazing for her. The trouble is that PGA matches are held on Wednesdays and as she is going into Year 13 (A level) year, her school has said that they will not support her and allow her day release. Gemma is a model student and achieves high academic results, the club has an Education officer that will liaise with the school to make sure her studies won't fall behind, but the school still says no. Would you turn down the contact or face bad school attendance/fines? Changing schools is not an option as we cant find any that do the same combination of A level subjects.

I honestly think it would be such a shame for Gemma to have to turn this opportunity down, especially when she’s a model student, achieving highly academically, and the club is willing to put an Education Officer in place to make sure her studies don’t suffer She’s obviously worked hard enough to earn both her academic success and this opportunity in football, and realistically, opportunities like a PGA contract don’t come around every day. I’d be doing everything I could to find a compromise with the school so she can have both, maybe speak to the board and see if there is anything that can be done
