A Little Wednesday Wisdom
“Life is really very simple. What we give out, we get back.” — Louise Hay Good morning, Cube Crew! I'm reading You Can Heal Your Life, and this thought really stuck with me. Have you ever noticed how one person's smile, laughter, or kindness can change the mood of an entire room? I think we sometimes forget how much we contribute to the environment around us. A warm greeting, a little encouragement, or simply making someone feel welcome can create a ripple effect. And the beautiful thing? We don't have to be having a perfect day to make someone else's a little brighter. Today's Focus: I AM creating a little more kindness and joy wherever I go. Here's an easy Wednesday question: What kind of energy would you love more of around you? ❤️ A. Kindness 😂 B. Laughter ☀️ C. Positivity 🤗 D. Connection 🌸 E. A little of everything! Let's spread a little good energy today! 🌈

Simple Connections Saturday
I've been thinking this morning about the people we cross paths with in our everyday lives. The neighbor we wave to. The person we see walking their dog. The quick hello on the sidewalk. A smile. A laugh. A two-minute conversation that doesn't seem particularly important at the time. Today I'm attending a memorial for someone from our neighborhood who passed away unexpectedly. He was someone I knew mostly through our walks and our dogs — those simple interactions that happen when you see the same people out and about over time. But I learned something recently that really stayed with me. He would have coffee with his daughter and tell her about the dogs he'd seen and the people he'd talked to on his walks. Those little interactions mattered to him. And I don't think any of us necessarily knew that. It made me wonder how many times we brighten someone's day without ever realizing it. Maybe the smile matters. Maybe stopping for a minute matters. Maybe remembering someone's dog's name matters. Maybe simply saying hello matters. We spend a lot of time looking for the big ways to make a difference in someone's life. Today I'm reminded that sometimes it's much simpler than that. “Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear… all of which have the potential to turn a life around.” — Leo Buscaglia Notice people. Say hello. Smile. Make the connection. You may never know what that small moment meant to someone else. Maybe knowing that it could matter is reason enough to keep doing it.

Wonderful Kindness
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” — Aesop About a week ago, I was washing Julio’s food bowl when it slipped out of my hand and broke in half. It was just a bowl… except it wasn’t. It was one of the first things we bought the day Julio came to live with us, so somewhere along the way that little bowl became attached to a whole collection of memories. 🐾 I was pretty sad that I had broken it. Then a few days later, my husband surprised me. He had searched online, found the exact same bowl, and ordered it for me. When it arrived, I realized something. Yes, I was happy to have the bowl back. But what really touched me was the kindness behind it. He knew it mattered to me. So it mattered to him. And now this new bowl carries a different memory — one that reminds me that sometimes love and kindness show up in the smallest, most unexpected ways. We tend to notice the big gestures. But maybe we should pay more attention to the little ones. Someone remembering something you said. Checking in. Holding the door. Bringing you coffee. Finding a silly little dog bowl because they know your heart was attached to it. 🐕 Kindness doesn't have to be big to be meaningful. So today's question: 🌻 What small act of kindness have you witnessed, received or given lately that made you smile or reminded you of the good in people? Let's fill the comments with a little good today. 🌈🐾

See the Good Sunday
“When you focus on the good, the good gets better.” — Abraham Hicks There will always be things we could complain about. Something that didn’t go right. Someone who frustrated us. Something we wish were different. But there’s also good happening around us every single day—and sometimes we have to intentionally look for it. A kind word. A good cup of coffee. Someone making us laugh. A beautiful morning. A small win. A moment when something simply went right. Maybe part of taking care of ourselves is deciding that the difficult stuff doesn’t get ALL of our attention. So today, let’s give the good a little more airtime. Sunday challenge: Drop ONE good thing in the comments. Big. Small. Silly. Meaningful. Let’s see how much good we can collect in one place. 🌈

Saturday Cruise Down Memory Lane
“Nothing behind me, everything ahead of me, as is ever so on the road.” — Jack Kerouac I went to a car show last night, and somewhere between the shiny paint, old dashboards and cars I hadn't seen in years, I started thinking about... MY FIRST CAR. 😂 Remember yours? Maybe it was your pride and joy. Maybe it was held together with duct tape and hope. Maybe the radio only worked when you hit a bump. Maybe it had a mysterious warning light you simply learned to live with. 😳 But there was something about that first car. Freedom. The ability to go somewhere without asking for a ride. Your music. (extra points if you remember 8track, tape deck or that cool device that converted the tape to a CD!! ) Your friends. Your adventures. And probably a few stories we're better off NOT sharing here. 😂 So today's Saturday question is an easy one: 🚗 What was your first car? Bonus points for the year, make, model AND color. And extra bonus points if you give it the nickname you had for it. Let's see who had the coolest first ride... …and who was just grateful theirs started. 😂 Happy Saturday, 4 Cubed! 🚙💛

‘93 Toyota Tercel, it was a manual transmission (of course), Mexican blue with dark tinted back windows and I put some flashy new silver rims on her. Her name was Lil Blue. And a Yoda figurine I got from Taco Bell on the dashboard… cause it was a Toy-Yoda. 🤣 I miss that little car! 🚙
