Good morning, everyone! We’ve made it to Day 39 of 56! Today is a very special day for me because it’s my birthday. So, I decided to make today’s video a little reflection. For the past few years, I’ve had a tradition of recording a video on my birthday, talking about how life is going at that moment. So why not combine the two? 😊 I hope you enjoy today’s video, and I really want to hear about your birthday too! 🎯 Today’s challenge is to talk about your birthday. You can talk about: - When is your birthday? - What’s your zodiac sign? - How old are you turning? - Do you like celebrating your birthday? - How do you usually celebrate? - If you don’t celebrate, is there a reason why? - Do you have a special birthday tradition? - Do you have a special or unforgettable birthday memory? Take a look at my video as an example, and also check out the script. I also added a Zodiac Signs Vocabulary Sheet. So, if you have any questions about how to pronounce your zodiac sign in English, that sheet could really help you. And since today is my birthday, I have to say: the best birthday present you could ever give me is your participation here. Seeing you show up, practice, and make progress makes me incredibly happy. So, let’s celebrate by practicing English together! Happy Day 39! And I can’t wait to hear about your birthday! 🎂

I’m so glad to announce that we’re hosting another live session with native speakers this week! This week, we’re going to have @April De Lima with us for a fun lesson all about dream destinations, your travel preferences, and how to sound more natural when sharing and supporting your opinions. Add it to your calendars: Thursday 09/24 🇧🇷 5 PM Brasília time 🇺🇸 1 PM Las Vegas time I hope you can make it! These live sessions are such a great opportunity to practice your English, interact with native speakers, and actually use what you’ve been learning. Can’t wait to see you there!

Thank you so much for voting on the best time for our classes! The majority of you asked for more classes in the evening, so we’re going to start testing that schedule. Of course, this doesn’t mean that all of our classes will be in the evening. We’ll continue offering different times whenever possible so we can accommodate as many of you as we can. But this week, we have something exciting: Teacher @Joe Musgrave will be joining you this Thursday at 8:00 PM (Brasília time) for a relaxing and fun conversation class. You’ll have the chance to: - Practice your English skills - Learn new vocabulary and expressions - Practice building natural-sounding sentences - Get more comfortable speaking in real-life situations And remember: this is an English-only class! 🇺🇸 That’s not meant to intimidate you at all. It’s simply a way for you to come prepared to speak, listen, and interact in English, just like you would in a real-life situation. Don’t worry about making mistakes. This is exactly what practice is for! ❤️ Add it to your calendar and make sure you don’t miss it! Remember: consistency today, fluency tomorrow Let’s practice English and have some fun!
