All You Have To Do Is Everything You Can
Here's the last module of the Roots Of Revenue course. I'm having a whopping cunt of a time and it's the exact playbook i'm running right now. Crisis mode if you like. Please let me know if this is helpful to you and share your crisis with the group. Here's mine: I spent the last two years building to this moment, which appears to have culminated in the most spectacular set of failures I have ever endured. That being said, there is still a path forward to an outrageously good outcome, but I must keep moving forward if I want to get there, however unlikely. With that said, please check it out.

All we can do and the miracles are following, we just keep pushing.
Build self esteem around input, not outcome
Input is the only thing you can control. You have no say on what other people do, whether the stars align, and whether your plan comes together. This means if you base your self esteem on the outcome, you’re putting your happiness in the hands of something totally outside of your control. I’ve taken a real big swing over the weekend, I truly have no idea which way it’ll land, but I can say I’ve never worked harder on anything in my whole life. I’ve sent out a pitch that I’ve been building for nearly two years, through chaos and calamity, in the pursuit of a solution to the loss of canopy around the world. I haven’t heard a peep back yet, but I can always look back on this moment as the time I chose to put fear aside and press on with the mission, that’s something worth building one’s self esteem around. Stay solid team

If the pitch works or not, you have learned so much about yourself and the people around you during this time and whatever the outcome is, you are better for it.
Becoming unstoppable
Yesterday I put up a post on Facebook and Instagram declaring that I am unstoppable. At the time I wrote that piece of content I did not even have the wage payment in hand that was due to go out that day. That being said, this is not the first time that has happened to me. Not the 10th not even the 20th. It has happened so many times now that I have just come to realise that as long as I do everything I can, things work out. If they don’t, then I’ll worry about it when it happens. I’m a firm believer in only suffering once, and I have put a lot of effort into pushing back the thoughts of impending doom. Suffer if it happens, don’t suffer the fear of it happening too.

I’ve watched you face these moments — not just once or twice, but time and time again. Moments where there was no money in the account, when most people would crumble or panic. But you? You never let it break you. You always have a plan. You stay calm. You face it head on. You don’t pretend everything’s fine — you accept the reality, and then you deal with it. With grit. With grace. You don’t just talk about resilience — you live it. And being able to watch that in real time is something I am in awe of.
