I'm recreating some of my books with AI art. And I just published a second edition of a book I published in 2021. Never Snitch on a Witch. The reason, I went for a second edition was to see if AI art would make a stronger impact. My one mistake though was that I put down that it was previously published in 2021 with the hopes that I would retain the 15 reviews I already had. Well the reviews never came over and now it looks like the book has been sitting in Amazon since 2021 with zero sales. The benefits of "A New Release" is that it gets a little added extra marketing that's done for you. SO I miss out on that. SInce the reviews were the only reason i did this, I think i'm going to take it down and then republish it. Amazon has traditionally had poor support for these types of matters but I will try to ask them about the reviews. My two options: Archive it and resubmit it as a new release or just leave it alone... What would you do?

@Krista Brea ❤️ I’m writing my memoir raw and unedited, and I now have 40 chapters! 😳📖❤️ I’ve been letting the memories and stories come as they come, without worrying about making everything perfect yet. It’s amazing how writing one memory opens the door to another. Now that I’ve reached 40 chapters, I’m starting to wonder: When do you think we can begin the next step toward KDP publishing? And what exactly IS the next step? 😂 Do I keep writing until I feel the entire story is out? Do we start organizing the chapters? Editing? Formatting? Preparing the manuscript? I’m definitely not finished telling my story, and I don’t want to rush the process. I’d just love to understand where we go from here and when we should begin. 40 chapters in! 📖🔥 I can hardly believe it! ❤️🙌 Memoir Skool

It keeps hounding me. This could be a book. You slowly work away at it, but you don't quite know how you're going to pull it all together. Eventually, the pieces start to come together and you have a manuscript. And then you realize...now you have to figure out how to turn a manuscript into an actual book. Do you go through a publishing house? Do you self-publish? I decided, yes, I'm going to self-publish. Then came another whole learning curve. In Canada, I discovered I could set up my own publishing company and get my own ISBNs for free. Marvelous! Then I had to figure out formatting. What size should the book be? What is the cover going to look like? How do you get the cover dimensions right? How do you create it in Canva? What the heck is a bleed? Then there's pricing, categories, proofs, uploading, revisions...and all those little things you didn't even know you needed to know to bring a book to fruition. One step at a time. One problem at a time. One new thing learned at a time. And finally, all that creative drive, all that persistence, and all the work of bringing an idea into physical form came together. I created a book. Flow Reclaimed is published. Oh my God, it feels AWESOME to finally have this one finished. Especially because apparently my creative brain isn't done with me yet. I have another nine book ideas pushing to be creatively brought into being. 😂 But for today? I'm going to enjoy this one. An idea became a book. And that feels pretty damn good.
