Greetings Hermanos, Check the video below when you get a sec today. Tomorrow we’re gonna launch a 30-day journaling challenge to take us thru the harvest month of September. It’s been a fast paced summer full of distractions and outward action. Now with this challenge we come back around the fire and dial in again. This challenge, if you stick to it everyday, will provide you with more insight and data on yourself than any other time in your life. I created a workbook/google doc that has instructions and prompts for each phase (10 day phases). Comment on this thread your commitment and that you’re participating. This isn’t a fluffy kind of challenge with no accountability. If you say yes, you’re going to see it thru to the end and we’re gonna hold each accountable to this. Each phase will have a call for it (outside of the monthly council call). My prayer is every man here dives into this because this real Empirical evidence coming straight from you that will open up a lot of things in your psyche. You may see how good you got at lying to yourself and missing blind spots as I did for many years. You may uncover memories, you may really start to enjoy expressing yourself thru this, your soul/inner being might start really communicating with you, and YES a lot of resistance will show up as you go. I’ll post the workbook link as a comment under this post so you can start looking at it and thinking about what your death cookies will be for at least the first phase. At the end of each phase you’ll post on here as part of the accountability if you ate the cookies or not and why. You’ll bring info you gathered from your writing onto the phase call for each one. Hey brothers...I want to put an emphasis on this one... I know it's summer, I know people have a lot going on, AND it's really not that much of a commitment to get on one or two calls a month that are going to be incredibly supportive especially during these times. This is the whole point of community and the power of a space like this. I can tell you that the guys that have come to the last few calls got to experience how potent it is when we come together like that. This weeks call is an important one and likely one that most of us have not had before. It's a super important topic that affects are lives more than anything else in many ways. SHAME...how it's shaped us as men, how it deeply affects our psyche, keeps us small and hidden and addicted to vices, and how most of our identity has been formed from it. In this call we're gonna dive deep into that and then open the floor for some real potent exercises around vulnerability and truth telling. I'll set the stage on that one and share some things I don't think I've ever publicly shared. WHY? because authenticity gets buried from shame and I am choosing to live my life authentically now and for the rest of the way. A few weeks ago I put forth a community vote for our next group call outside of the counsel. This call is going to center around shame that is wrapped around our sexuality and any traumas or deeply imprinted experiences with it. This is an area for men that perhaps carries more shame than anything else. This call will be vulnerable, it'll be uncharted waters, it will be raw, and real. I will set the stage and do a mini training for context and then we will dive in for personal shares. Shame has been a core wound that has been a central theme of my life. In that way it's been one of my biggest obstacles/teachers/gift bringers. The point of these calls is for healing in the sense that we bring what was in the dark and hidden to light so that it can be witnessed. Shame wants nothing more than to hide and never be seen. Shame is a deeply embedded parasite in the collective unconscious of humanity. We're here to normalize speaking to these things so that we can see that we share so much of the pieces that hold us back in our lives. Our sexual energy is connected to essentially every aspect of our lives whether we realize it or not. If there is shame carried in any capacity, it is certain we will mis-use our sexual energy or it will be leaking in ways that cause a lot of harm to ourselves or keep us operating at a much lower level than we could be. It is like a tumor that takes our life force and drains our energy. This pattern of shame attached to our sexual energy has been one of the biggest culprits of the horrible shit we see occurring on the planet. We are not separate from it, it lives in all of us and it takes men like us in these kinds of intentional environments to alchemize how it's being expressed within us. The invitation is to come on the call and even just observe and witness. If you don't feel comfortable to share that's OK, just bare witness. You may be surprised what surfaces. As always, when we gather like that, we go into the unknown and you'll feel and experience things that never were available in that way before. That is the magic of these. We are stirring the deep subconscious waters that are like the garden of eden. Whatever weeds are growing in there (wounds), they will continue to manifest in our reality until the wound is healed. In that way it is like mathematics. The bad code will keep creating disorder and chaos and we will wonder why similar experiences continue to happen.
