Your brain is wired for safety, not transformation. That’s why you’ll often catch yourself holding onto routines that you know are slowing down your progress. Even if those routines are painful and often have regret around them… skipping workouts, finding emotional comfort in the cupboard, obsessing over the scale, or falling back into “all or nothing” dieting… these feel safe. Why? Because they’re familiar. They’re predictable. They’re who you’ve been. Here’s the paradox: - The familiar hell feels safer than the unfamiliar heaven. - Comfort (skipping the gym, choosing the quick fix, eating what’s easiest) often wins over growth. - The brain craves what it knows, not what’s best for you. And that’s why change in fitness feels so threatening. Tracking macros, sticking to a workout plan, setting boundaries, or breaking free from restrictive diets shakes your core identity. It demands you to step into a version of yourself you haven’t fully lived in yet. But here’s the truth: the results you want live on the other side of that discomfort. Building strength, fueling your body properly, and trusting the process won’t always feel comfortable, but they’re exactly what pull you out of the cycle you’ve been stuck in. 🚀Community Challenge This Week🚀 Reflect and share below👇🏻 1.
