It’s time. I’m taking a break from Chess.com. I’ll be spending most of my time on LiChess going forward. I appreciate what Chess dot com has done for chess but their massive paywall is annoying. Now with Endgame and Take Take Take, game review is no longer a huge pull. Besides self analysis is better anyway. It’s possible I will come back sooner than I think but we will see. I've been studying most nights for 45 mins for probably the last couple months. I'm analysing every game and working really hard and i just can't progress. Its so humbling but it also is making me hate this game. I'm so close to 2000 that I'm forcing myself to study even when I don't want to and every game is so exhausting now. Turns out you can't wait out games I tried hahaha. Got suspended for 10 mins. But then I got matched against a 1750 and barely beat him in the last minute and then I got a lucky stalemate against a 1550. The last 3 games I lost against 1500+ so I dropped from 1438-1410 but I still secured the title
