@Yannich Captain Consider the finish and build quality of both to be about the same. The primary differences (problems) with Imagine Strength seem to be improper installation and setup. I think, when they resolve those issues, people will be amazed with IS equipment.

@Yannich Captain I've watched good installers. Ideally, the company would have it's own installers, but that task is frequently contracted out. The installation of any equipment can be done improperly, but with what we do, we can FEEL the errors, often immediately. EVERY installation WILL have problems. They were transported on a rolling earthquake. Good installers know the problems to expect. Good installers are well prepared, and over prepared (extra stickers, weight pins, etc). Good installers are there for MANY hours after the equipment has been setup and installed. The more equipment, the more hours. I'm guessing you mean an equipment setup and installation manual with instructions. I didn't see Thor Swanson using one, but he wouldn't need one.
Do clients get it?
This is a bit of an embarrassing question, but I’m wondering if other studios have the same issue. We have a primarily an older client group 60 and beyond. The vast majority of our clients do not train to momentary muscular failure. They seem to still get benefit from the workout because they are seeing strength increases and report daily activities at home being easier to perform. There are only a small few that actually want to get pushed hard enough to go to muscular failure. A lot of our sessions just end up as a social 20 or 30 minutes with the client where they do moderate to moderately hard exercise. Sometimes this makes me feel like I’m not doing my job correctly. Does anyone else have this problem?

Every set, "... as hard as you DARE". Everyone's 'dare' is a bit different. Ideally, they learn to 'dare' a little more each time.
