Book Business Operations, How do You Run Your Business?
I would really appreciate you guidance. For authors who have built a business around a book, especially courses and speaking, who actually handles your day-to-day operations? Do you run it yourself, have an operations manager/VA, use an outside company, or have a business partner? What did your team look like at launch versus after you grew? I'm especially interested in how you kept overhead low while still being prepared to capitalize on launch momentum. Thank you your time.

@Cole digital Consultant hi, I want to thank you for your time, I appreciate it. You are so right, I need to remember to wait until there is a real need to get help. We have not published yet. My son is writing the book and then I am going to run the backend of the business. I am looking at launching the company, then having an operations manager to come in, then I would supervise them. I am retired and I look forward to enjoying this time of my life. You are knowledgeable, what would an operations manager actually handle for the company. Like a lot of us he wants to develop a course, seriously look at licensing, and speaking. Any ideas? Wishing you continued success, Darla

I’ve been part of some internal conversations lately around book launches, and I’d love to bring you all into it. If you have a book landing page for an upcoming launch (or one in progress), drop the link in the comments 👇 Seeing real examples is incredibly helpful, and this is a great chance to learn from each other.

Wins!
I just wanted to share this because I still find it incredible.
Three months ago, I published my book without high expectations; I only hoped a few people would read it. But life surprised me. Now I'm earning around $2,000 a week from it, and I'm still so thrilled because I remember how hard it was to earn even a few dollars. It's amazing how something you create can suddenly change your life. For those of you who have already launched a project... Have you ever experienced such rapid success?

✅ Just hit #1 Best Seller in Strategic Management! 🎉 Hello Orange badge! 🧡 I used one important strategy from @Julie Broad’s book to do it. Something I’ve asked about here before. Any guesses as to which one it was???

I'm a part of mother-son duo. My son, Troy, is a first-time author and I'm helping him with the marketing. Yeah ENFPs! (We are always so excitable)
