How To Use AI To Change Your Life (for the better)
AI as a Tool for Personal Growth - Artificial intelligence can function as a thinking partner to help individuals move out of survival mode and reinvent their lives. (00:00:20) - The process for addressing personal blind spots involves unpacking why they occur, utilizing AI to analyze them, and taking concrete real-world actions. (00:00:38) - AI has limitations, and human judgment must remain in charge because the technology can distort facts, overstate patterns, and sound more certain than it should. (00:00:56) - Personal lives can be compared to 80,000-pound trucks on a highway, where the weight of responsibilities and frequent lane changes create dangerous blind spots. (00:01:42) Identifying and Analyzing Behavioral Blind Spots - Deception is identified as the first blind spot, specifically regarding why individuals continue behaviors they know are harmful. (00:02:02) - Just as investigators use a plane's black box to avoid the distortions of human memory, individuals can use AI to analyze their own life data from a third-party perspective. (00:02:18) - A suggested prompt for AI involves instructing it to act as an investigator for specific behavioral patterns, such as avoiding difficult conversations or failing to exercise consistently. (00:02:48) - The prompt requires the AI to identify potential blind spots, explain why they are avoided, and suggest ways to catch them before they are triggered. (00:03:31) - The AI should be instructed to interview the user one question at a time, use only the user's answers as evidence, and provide a hypothesis rather than a diagnosis. (00:03:47) - The AI should be directed to be respectful, candid, and direct, while avoiding flattery or motivation. (00:04:02)

Great use of the Rush Lyrics Dorn, Keep on Keeping on. Coconuts don't migrate.
Tactic Tuesday: The Content Repurposing SOP
Alright, DE fam. Grab your coffee. This one's long because I want you to actually be able to run this, not just nod along and forget it by Wednesday. Today's tactic: a full, step-by-step SOP for repurposing content. Video, audio, webinars, blog posts, doesn't matter. One source, systematically turned into a stack of platform-native assets. If you're only posting content once and moving on, you're leaving most of the value on the table. Let's fix that. 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁, 𝗟𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗞𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗮 𝗕𝗮𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Most people think repurposing means "copy the caption, paste it on five platforms." That's not repurposing. That's just cross-posting with extra steps, and it usually performs worse than posting nothing, because it reads like it wasn't made for the platform it's on. Real repurposing means you take one core idea and rebuild it in the native language of each channel. A LinkedIn post is not a tweet. A tweet is not an email. An email is not a YouTube Short script. Each one has its own rhythm, length, and hook style. If your repurposing process doesn't account for that, stop and fix the process before you scale it. Scaling a broken workflow just gets you more mediocre content, faster. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗰𝘆 You're already creating source content. Discovery calls, client onboarding videos, webinars, blog posts you write for SEO, sales call recordings you can pull insights from. Every one of those is a goldmine you're probably only mining once. The math is simple. If it takes you 3 hours to create one piece of long-form content, and that content can become 15 smaller assets with a repeatable system, your cost per asset drops hard. That's the whole game. You're not creating more, you're extracting more from what you already made. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗢𝗣: 𝟵 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗥𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘀 Save this(There is checklist download below). Print it. Put it in your SOP folder for your team or your future VA. 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗱𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 Before you repurpose anything, ask if it's worth repurposing.

Thank you for the clarity Dorn, also the shedding of well meaning habits that can be working against us and our brands. Have a great rest of your week.
QOTW: Why did you choose to start a digital marketing agency?
Why did you choose to start a digital marketing agency? Everyone's got a different spark. Some of us got laid off and needed a plan B. Some of us were freelancing and got tired of trading hours for dollars. Some of us just looked at our 9-to-5 and thought, "yeah, no." Whatever it was, that reason is still in there somewhere, and on the hard days, it's usually the thing that gets you back to your desk. Drop your answer below: - What was the moment or situation that pushed you to start? - Has your "why" changed since then, or is it still the same one? I'll go first in the comments. Curious to see how many of us started for the same reason, and how many of us have a story nobody's heard yet.

The short story is that the companies I worked for did much better when I came on board, I realised I had a knack for streamlining processes, and real improvements for each business, and when I left those companies other folks took the credit I heard through the grapevines often. I truly just wanted to help folks who were not bigger companies and I thought the best way to reach those folks was to be one of them so I could communicate and be on the same level.
You Know More About Marketing Than 90% of the World (So Why Do You Feel Like a Fraud?)
Let’s talk about the thing nobody posts on LinkedIn. You’re sitting at your desk, looking at a client proposal, an ad campaign, or a strategy doc you just finished. It looks good. The logic is solid. The data checks out. Then the voice shows up. Who do you think you are charging this much? What happens when they ask a question you can’t answer? What if they realize you’re just making half of this up as you go? Welcome to imposter syndrome. It doesn’t care that you’ve run successful campaigns. It doesn’t care that you’ve been doing this for years. It just waits until you’re about to level up, then whispers that you’re a complete fake. Here’s the reality nobody admits: if you know even the basics of offer positioning, lead tracking, or local SEO, you already know more about marketing than 90 percent of the business owners on planet Earth. Read that again. The average local business owner is worried about payroll, inventory, and keeping the lights on. They don't know what a conversion rate is. They don't know why their Google Business Profile isn't showing up. They sure as hell don't know how to build a 3-tier follow-up sequence. You do. So why does it still feel like you’re faking it? Because marketing moves fast, the internet is loud, and you're comparing your daily behind-the-scenes chaos to everyone else's highlight reel. Let's break down why this happens and how to actually kill it off so you can scale your agency without feeling like a fraud. 1. The Curse of Knowledge (Why Expertise Feels Like "Common Sense") Once you learn how to do something, your brain automatically assumes it’s easy. You normalize your own skill set. Setting up a retargeting pixel feels like breathing to you. Structuring a clear landing page takes you an hour. Auditing a broken Google profile is second nature. Because it’s easy for you, you assume it’s easy for everyone. It’s not. To a client who spends 12 hours a day running a plumbing business or managing a legal practice, what you do looks like dark magic. They aren't paying you for the three hours it took you to fix their funnel. They're paying you for the three years it took you to learn how to fix it in three hours.

Welcome - Please Read & Follow The Rules
I have a few rules to be clear. Not trying to be a dictator just trying to let people have a positive experience in this group. This group only works if we protect the culture. If you’re here to learn, share, and build you’re in the right place. If you’re here to extract, spam, or posture this won’t be a fit. 1. I make the rules 2. Be a decent human 3. No spam, no drive-bys 4. Give before you ask 5. Confidential stays confidential 6. Permission-based promotion only 7. No victim mindset 8. Humor is encouraged, if you are being sarcastic please use the #sarcasm tag 9. If you don't like the rules. SEE RULE #1
