Where does your money actually go?
You get your paycheck, pay the bills, buy the things you need (and maybe a few things you didn't plan on 😅), and suddenly you're wondering where all the money has gone. We often hear the first step to managing our finances is creating a budget, but to build a practical budget, you need to begin by gathering information. I used to create my budgets based on how much I thought I should spend in each category, and they always failed. Why? Because they weren't based on my actual spending habits! Taking time to understand where your money goes, what you need to cover, and what's left for the things you want helps you create a much more realistic budget you can actually stick to. Join me for Tracking Your Spending, a practical workshop where we'll talk about how to track your spending, recognize patterns, and use what you learn to make intentional decisions. 📅 October 29th ⏰ 8:00 AM Central 💻 Click to save your spot. ✨ You'll leave with: - Simple ways to track your personal or business spending - A practical approach to identifying spending patterns - A better understanding of how tracking differs from budgeting and why both matter - Three questions to help you decide what you want to change - A starting point for turning what you learn into a realistic spending plan

@Heather Wilson Aha, that will be why then. Hi @Erin Rauch 👋
Free live talk: how one person runs a business with AI staff
I'm running a free live talk on 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝟮 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲-𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱: How I Run a Business with AI Staff. If you host events on your own, you know how much work goes into the event itself: promoting it, sending reminders, following up, and keeping track of who came. I run my business on my own, and my AI staff handle a lot of that kind of work. They do the research, the drafting, the email and the admin, and I check everything before it goes out. This is a look behind the curtain at how it works. I'll show you which jobs they take on, how I talk to them through a simple chat window, what it costs, where it goes wrong and what still needs a person. I'll also show you the communities I run and who each one is for. There's time for live Q&A at the end. I'm not promising a business that runs itself. I'm showing you how I actually work and being straight about the limits. 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻: UK: Monday 2 November, 8 pm GMT New York: Monday 2 November, 3 pm California: Monday 2 November, 12 pm Sydney: Tuesday 3 November, 7 am 📅 Join live on Google Meet: https://meet.google.com/iaq-eitp-dnm What's the one job around your events you'd most like to hand off to someone else?

Where The Bloody Hell Is Everyone? 😂
You Can Lead People to an Event… But Can You Make the Buggers Turn Up? 😂 Well, that was the big question at today's Coffee, Chat & Collab! And rather amusingly, several people who voted to discuss getting people to show up didn't actually show up themselves. Oh, the irony! 🤣 We had a cracking conversation, though, with some very useful experiences shared. Chris apparently thinks 3 AM is a perfectly reasonable time to get up for an event but in fairness he is showing up for when his audience is around so he is showing up so his audience shows up. I can assure you, it isn't happening in my house 🫣 because me and 3am dont get along 😂 Chef Andrew shared how simply asking his community which times suited them made a difference to attendance. He also reminded us that an event with nobody watching isn't necessarily wasted. Record it, repurpose it and make something useful out of it. Great advice. Angela shared the frustration of promoting a free workshop everywhere, only to have one person turn up. Something I suspect quite a few event hosts can relate to! But she left feeling encouraged that despite that she is on the right track and to carry on because it does happen. And Rena talked about using scheduling tools to keep event promotion going without having to remember every single post. We also got into some of my favourite subjects: posting and ghosting, building genuine relationships, following up with interested people and actually giving your audience a reason to come. Because putting up one event post and hoping the entire population of Skool will suddenly appear is rather optimistic, don't you think? 😁 Then Chef Andrew introduced us to the wonderful idea of adding a little whimsy to what we do. He's talking about food, of course, but it applies beautifully to events. A bit of personality, something unexpected, a little humour. Stop making everything so terribly serious! We also talked about collaborations, featuring other community members, using short videos and why making friends across communities can be far more valuable than endlessly shouting about your next event.

Did you miss Muse? Well we have a replay!
So here is the replay! The first one is the one I edited with my Claude Skill, and the second is the one Dan did with Astra in Chat GPT. Intersting stat: Me 167 Subscribers (so slight advantage) 70 Views Dan: 105 Subscribers 38 Views had the replay up 24 hours before me. You don't have to watch both, but if you do take a peak at both I would love to know why you think mine has almost twice as many views in 1/2 the time? Maybe @Des Dreckett or @Karin Crawford can weigh in on this?
