Old School Paganism & Magic hit 100 Members this morning!! I'm so excited! Here's what's happening in Old School Paganism & Magic for October: 🍂 October marks the last Harvest of the Season. This time of year, excess livestock would be slaughtered and the meat preserved to feed everyone throughout the winter. This is why the Full Moon in October has become known as "The Blood Moon". It makes sense then, that at Samhain the veil between the worlds of the living and dead is thin. 🍂 Our Theme and Focus for October is: 🎃 Samhain 👻 Ancestors 🔮 Divination 🐈‍⬛ Psychopomps and Hierophants ... oh my! 🍂 We'll be talking about our family histories and Ancestors we feel connected to, exploring different types of Divination, the history of Seances and experimenting first hand with Automatic Writing. 🦇 Then, we'll share supersitions, and traditional Omens, wrapping the month up with discussions on The Death and Hierphant cards in the Tarot, as well as Hierophant and Psychopomp Archetypes and their rolls in mythology. 🎃 And don't forget our Samhain Sabbat Walk in the park. Make sure you keep an eye on the Calendar for what's happening and when! We'd love to have you join us in exploring the energy of October! The hearth fire is lit and there's a chair waiting for you. This IS your Grandma's practice. Come, join the Circle.

Are you one of those people who performs "String Magic"? Have you ever needed just a bit of string/yarn/thread in a color you didn't have? Did you know that if you have fiber (wool rovings for example) in the 3 primary colors - RED, YELLOW, BLUE - you can make 66 different colors? 🎨 This works with paint too, for you painters out there. In this little demonstration i just added to the Medieval STUFF Community, it shows how to do just that. I have even provided a PDF Color Blending Ratio Chart that you can download and experiment with on your own. If you have an interest in medieval stuff, you just might enjoy Medieval Stuff. Hop on the wagon, i'll bring you to the village. (watch out for the pigs, they leave presents)
