Free 2-minute quiz for women whose brain keeps scanning
You checked your notifications twice while the pasta water boiled. Nothing new either time. If you run a community or sell anything online, you might know this one. Your mind doesn't just do the thing in front of it. It keeps scanning. Did she reply. Did the payment go through. Did I answer that DM. What's going up tomorrow. None of these are big, which is why they're easy to brush off. But they all stay open at once, and each one keeps a little of your attention. It's why you can stand in your own kitchen and not really be there. Checking more often isn't a discipline problem. Your mind keeps scanning because nothing else is holding the loops for you. That's the Mental Multitasker pattern, one of four ways mental load shows up, and each one lightens differently. I made a free 2-minute quiz that shows which one is yours.

Oh yes. 😂 The number of times I check something when there is absolutely NO reason to think anything has changed since I checked it five minutes ago. Apparently, my brain just likes to make sure. 😂
She started with 7 days. Then she stayed.
One of my first Lighter testers did the 7 days. She told me she still writes in her journal. She calls it "the forever gift" 🥹 Then she joined The Room to Breathe. She wanted a place to keep going. That's how I see it now: - Lighter is where you start. 7 days, a short audio and a few prompts each day. $17. - The Room is where you keep going, with women who get it. $9/month. Both are for women who get everything done… and still have a full head. Start with Lighter Or come straight to The Room Have a great day, Jen

Is this it?
🤔 A question many midlife women quietly ask themselves. Somewhere between taking care of everyone else, managing work, navigating changing relationships, and trying to keep all the balls in the air, many women lose touch with themselves. They feel overwhelmed, stuck, exhausted, or wonder when they'll finally have time to figure out what they want. But what if the answer isn't doing more? What if it's learning to slow down, set boundaries without guilt, and make space for yourself again? Sometimes, a few minutes of journaling, a daily gratitude practice, or connecting with women who understand can be a great place to start. ❤️ That's part of what inspired me to create the Courage Collective — a space for midlife women who are ready to reconnect with themselves, explore what they want next, and take small steps toward a life that feels more like their own. Because maybe this isn't it. Maybe there's a whole new chapter waiting for you. And maybe the first step is simply giving yourself permission to ask, What do I need? 🌿

@Jewels Sherriff Journaling is a great place to start! Sooo many benefits! I love how it provides clarity and an emotional release for me.
Sweater Weather!
😂 Well, Skoolers, today's overposting is brought to you by @Donna Thornton ! 🤣 She reminded me of the SNL Sweater Weather skit, and naturally, I had to share it with the group. I'm sick, sitting on the couch, and apparently have nothing better to do than keep you all entertained. 🤷‍♀️😂 Donna, this is ALL YOUR FAULT. 🤣👇 https://youtube.com/shorts/pq5aw_iZb6I?si=ePVmG9c34-MN7cVn

🤣🤣🤣 Oh, Jewels. I accept full responsibility for this one. And I regret NOTHING. 😂 Although I would like the record to show that I merely mentioned Sweater Weather. What happened after that was entirely between you, SNL, and whatever cold medicine may be involved. 🤣🤣 Now get back under that blanket and feel better, my friend. ❤️🧣

My mental load pattern? Strategic Thinker. Not a shock.
My brain weighs everything. Which post to write. How to word the welcome message. Every decision stays open until I close it. In a business, that feels like being careful. It's also why decisions pile up and feel heavy by evening. If you're a founder who weighs everything, you might be one too. Free 2-minute quiz, it shows your pattern and what lightens it.
