🗣️ ENGLISH FOUNDATIONS | "I'LL LET YOU KNOW."
Tôi sẽ báo cho bạn biết. Last time we learned what to say AFTER you check: "That works for me!" 👍 But what if you CAN'T check right now? Maybe your calendar is at home, or you need to ask your boss or family. 🤔 Today's new power phrase: ⭐ I'll let you know. — Tôi sẽ báo cho bạn biết. Add a time to make it even better: I'll let you know tonight / tomorrow / by Friday. Then keep your promise and come back later: "Hi! I checked. Saturday works for me!" ✅ 🎥 YOUR VIDEO CHALLENGE | THỬ THÁCH VIDEO Record a short video (30–60 seconds) and post it in the comments below 👇 Answer this question: "Hey! Are you free this weekend?" In your answer, try to: ☑️ Say you're not sure ☑️ Use "I'll let you know" + a time ☑️ Then pretend it's later: "Hi! I checked…" ☑️ Finish the plan with "That works for me!" Don't write a script first. Just speak! 💙 Then watch 2 classmates' videos and leave them a comment. 💙 Speak Now. Fix Later. — Cứ nói trước. Sửa sau. 🔄 Bring it back. Connect it. Use it again.

Advanced Membership Coaching Part 10: Summarize, Synthesize, and Conclude
Today’s Topic Where do people work best? ⏱️ Total lesson time: 40 minutes 1. Opening Output Challenge — 6 Minutes Listen to three perspectives: Speaker A “I work best at home because it is quiet, comfortable, and free from unnecessary interruptions.” Speaker B “I prefer working in an office because I can communicate with my team more easily and solve problems faster.” Speaker C “I think a flexible schedule is best. People should work at home when they need concentration and come to the office when collaboration is necessary.” Round 1: Summarize Explain each speaker’s position: - Speaker A believes… - Speaker B emphasizes… - Speaker C recommends… Round 2: Synthesize Answer: - What do all three speakers care about? - What is the main difference? - How are the ideas connected? - What conclusion can you create? 2. Quick Review — 5 Minutes Summary A summary reports the ideas separately: “Speaker A prefers working from home. Speaker B prefers the office. Speaker C supports a flexible schedule.” Synthesis A synthesis connects the ideas: “Although the speakers prefer different work environments, they all want to be productive. Working from home may support concentration, while office work improves collaboration. A flexible schedule could combine both advantages.” Remember: Summary = What did they say? Synthesis = How do their ideas fit together? Use this structure: Represent → Compare → Connect → Conclude 3. Useful Language — 4 Minutes Represent - Speaker A focuses on… - Speaker B emphasizes… - Speaker C introduces… Compare and Connect - All three speakers agree that… - The main difference is… - While one speaker emphasizes…, another focuses on… - These ideas are connected because… - These perspectives are complementary. Conclude - Taken together, these ideas suggest… - A balanced conclusion would be… - The most practical solution may be… 4. Breakout Group — 18 Minutes Question What helps people do their best work? 💬 ENGLISH FOUNDATIONS | A1 → A2: “WHAT IF…?” 💬 NỀN TẢNG TIẾNG ANH | A1 → A2: “NẾU… THÌ SAO?”
You just finished your 5-MINUTE A2 SPEAKING QUIZ! — Bạn vừa hoàn thành BÀI KIỂM TRA NÓI A2 TRONG 5 PHÚT! Don't worry about your score yet. — Đừng lo về điểm số ngay lúc này. The important question is: WHAT COULD YOU ACTUALLY SAY? BẠN THỰC SỰ NÓI ĐƯỢC BAO NHIÊU? Today we're going to take English you ALREADY KNOW and learn how to do something NEW with it. — Hôm nay chúng ta sẽ lấy tiếng Anh bạn ĐÃ BIẾT và học cách sử dụng nó theo một cách MỚI. 🔄 QUICK SPIRAL | ÔN NHANH Two days ago we learned: ⭐ IT DEPENDS. — CÒN TÙY. Then: ⭐ IT DEPENDS ON… — CÒN TÙY VÀO… And: ⭐ IF…, I… — NẾU…, TÔI… For example: Are you free this weekend? — Cuối tuần này bạn có rảnh không? It depends on my work. — Còn tùy vào công việc của tôi. If I'm free, I'll get coffee with my friend. — Nếu tôi rảnh, tôi sẽ đi uống cà phê với bạn. Great! But today we're going to FLIP it. Instead of ANSWERING with IF… We're going to ASK with WHAT IF…? ⭐ TODAY'S POWER PHRASE | “WHAT IF…?” ⭐ CỤM TỪ QUAN TRỌNG HÔM NAY | “NẾU… THÌ SAO?” Listen: What if it rains? Nếu trời mưa thì sao? Again: What if it rains? That's it! Two very simple words: ⭐ WHAT IF…? And you can use them in MANY situations. 🌧️ CONTEXT #1 | WEATHER A: Do you want to go for a walk tomorrow? — Ngày mai bạn có muốn đi dạo không? B: Sure! — Được chứ! A: What if it rains? — Nếu trời mưa thì sao? B: If it rains, we can stay home. — Nếu trời mưa, chúng ta có thể ở nhà. 📅 CONTEXT #2 | PLANS A: Let's meet Saturday morning. — Hãy gặp nhau sáng thứ Bảy nhé. B: What if you're busy Saturday? — Nếu thứ Bảy bạn bận thì sao? A: Then we can meet Sunday. — Vậy thì chúng ta có thể gặp Chủ nhật. ☕ CONTEXT #3 | COFFEE SHOP A: Let's get coffee at 10:00. — Hãy đi uống cà phê lúc 10 giờ. B: What if the coffee shop is closed? — Nếu quán cà phê đóng cửa thì sao? A: Then we can go somewhere else. — Vậy thì chúng ta có thể đi chỗ khác. 🗣️ CONTEXT #4 | ENGLISH A: Try speaking English with someone. — Hãy thử nói tiếng Anh với ai đó. B: What if I don't understand? — Nếu tôi không hiểu thì sao?

Advanced Membership Coaching Reading Fluency Lab – Part 9: Summarize, Synthesize, and Simplify
🎯 Today’s Mission In our last lesson, we learned: To summarize is to shorten the ideas. To synthesize is to connect the ideas. Today, we will practice this skill again with a simple, familiar topic: What is the most important habit for a healthy life? The topic is simple so that we can focus on the advanced communication skill: - listening carefully - identifying each speaker’s main point - recognizing similarities and differences - connecting several perspectives - creating one useful conclusion B1 tells us what each person said. B2 explains how the ideas relate. C1 turns the ideas into a meaningful conclusion. 🔥 Opening Output Challenge: Listen, Remember, Connect Listen as your teacher reads three opinions. Do not take notes during the first reading. Speaker A “I believe regular exercise is the most important habit for a healthy life. Exercise strengthens the body, reduces stress, and can improve a person’s energy throughout the day.” Speaker B “In my opinion, healthy eating is more important. Exercise cannot completely overcome a poor diet, so people need to pay attention to what they consistently put into their bodies.” Speaker C “Exercise and nutrition both matter, but I think sleep is the foundation. When people do not sleep enough, they often lack the energy and discipline to exercise or make healthy food choices.” Round 1: Summarize Explain each speaker’s main idea: - Speaker A believes… - Speaker B emphasizes… - Speaker C argues… Round 2: Synthesize Now answer: 1. What do all three speakers agree about? 2. What is the main difference between their positions? 3. How do exercise, nutrition, and sleep affect one another? 4. What larger conclusion can you create? Speak for 60–90 seconds. 🧠 Quick Review: Summary vs. Synthesis Summary “Speaker A supports exercise. Speaker B supports healthy eating. Speaker C believes sleep is the foundation.” A summary reports the ideas accurately. Synthesis “Although the speakers emphasize different habits, their perspectives are complementary. Sleep provides the energy needed to exercise and make thoughtful decisions, while nutrition fuels the body and exercise strengthens it. Taken together, the three ideas suggest that long-term health depends on a balanced system rather than one isolated habit.”
