Courage
Are you someone that thinks feeling courageous is simply feeling no fear? If that's you, you're wrong, because being courageous, all it is, is feeling fear but doing it anyway. Let me expand: if you are about to do a healing session and it feels very uncomfortable, you feel fear before doing it. You feel fear before bringing up this emotion. That's a tame opportunity for you to level up your courage skills. If you do that, that's great, but if not, then it won't be optimal. Just remember that that's what being courageous is: not in any fear. It's simply feeling fear but doing it. I know that's what it's all about.

Just Start, F*ck Perfectionism
Do you tell yourself you need to wait for the perfect time? You need to have the most optimized workout routine before you start working out. You need to have the most practical content schedule before you even post a single piece of content. What you should really do is just screw all that and start. Let me expand on that. You see, whenever you simply just start, even whenever you don't feel ready, it can be scary to do that, but it gets you showing up. If you're someone who is just thinking about it, that's terrible, because thinking about it will not give you nowhere near as good of a success. It's an experience of knowing what it's like to do this thing rather than actually taking action, so just remember that. Remember this on your healing journey.

It is scary! I recently started a YouTube channel but had put it off for so long partially because I didn't have a great mic... or a great camera... or the best lighting... or an "internet worthy" home... or my face had acne on it... or my hair looked dumb. The thing is, there will always be reasons not to do something. But we've got to put perfection aside and simply start. ❤️

Right before the call I had a mini breakthrough/breakdown. I was in another group call reading affirmations to myself and started crying. I'm not sure if that was a result of yesterday's breathwork or not but I felt like something was loosened in me. During the breathwork, I only felt a little frustration but nothing that felt deep or strong emotion-wise. But before today's call, that cry felt good. I hope it was the release of my old patterning.

What if the hardest chapters are the training?
Yesterday, I had the incredible opportunity to be on a Zoom call with Jack Canfield. There were around 2,000 people on the call, so it wasn’t exactly an intimate coffee chat 😂, but he spoke for more than an hour, and considering that he is technically retired and came out of retirement to speak to this community, it felt really special to be there. There were several things Jack said that stayed with me, but one actually moved me to tears. He briefly talked about a period in his own life when he was going through a divorce. His business was worth around $8 million at the time, and as he told the story, his wife essentially received everything else while he kept the business—meaning he basically got to keep his job and had to rebuild the rest of his life. What struck me was this: even someone incredibly successful, someone who had already learned so much about mindset, success, and personal development, still went through a season where life absolutely knocked him around. He talked about people who have really been through it—people who seem to have been handed lesson after lesson after lesson—and suggested that perhaps those experiences are part of what prepares us to eventually help other people. His framing was spiritual: that somewhere along the way, we essentially signed up for this. That our soul chose certain lessons because we were going to become mentors, teachers, guides, or examples for someone else. Whether you interpret that literally or metaphorically, the question he gave us was incredibly powerful: “What am I supposed to be learning from this?” Not, Why is this happening to me? Not, When is this finally going to be over? But: What is this teaching me? It immediately reminded me of a book I already own, If Life Is a Game, These Are the Rules by Chérie Carter-Scott. Jack Canfield actually wrote the foreword. The first four rules are: 1. You will be presented with lessons. 2. There are no mistakes, only lessons. 3. A lesson is repeated until learned. 4. Learning does not end.

@Daksh Jhinjha Yes, and I feel like I'm going through it again now. It's hard to see a way out when you're in the thick of it but this gave me hope that I'll see the sun again someday.
