First scarf!
Picked this baby up while thrifting for only three bucks. Love the color and material, and I already have a few fragrances in mind I could style this with. Asking the masters, what’s the best way to properly style and rock this?

Nice color, wish I had a reason to wear one too but Florida weather doesn’t allow for it

Great job gents
Achievement level unlocked
I was promoted to the President of our company. We currently have 76 employees and 3 locations. I’ve been in the same line of work for 26 years (14 yrs at current company) . I have no college degree. Theoretically I don’t deserve this, I started from the very bottom of this industry and 26 years and 3 companies later here I am. I never felt smart enough, educated enough, good enough, to have this happen. I’ve lived my adult life with a constant hunger for knowledge and leadership and a desire to impact those around me. For me, I am undeserving and I truly believe if you knew me, it’s by the grace of God that he’s allowed me this responsibility and stewardship of what ultimately belongs to him. I don’t say that casually or lightly, this isn’t one of those award shows where everyone thanks God. I post this publicly for two reasons 1. Nothing in my life or background by “normal” corporate standards say I should be here. 2. Wherever we are, at the bottom, middle or top in our careers, we can make a difference. We can bless others, help others, support others and lead others right where we are. This is for my guys out there who need to hear the impossible is possible.
Black or Brown Shoes 👞🧐
It’s the age-old question we ask ourselves as intentionally well-dressed gentlemen: black shoes or brown shoes? My outfit was a Navy casual collared shirt (DXL) and dark brown pants (Duluth Trading Co). Now I would usually wear black shoes and a matching belt with this outfit, but my 23-year-old daughter said that I should wear brown shoes. So I took her advice, but I’d like to know the group's thoughts, too.

Brown, I struggled with the same thing for a long time, black was my go to, until it wasn’t. It’s actually very rare now that I wear black shoes. In fact the only time you’ll see me in black shoes is with a black suit. Brown (varying shades) is that universal goes with nearly everything color.
Getting my fitness back
So I’ve kept it pretty quiet for awhile, I had to prove to myself I could stick with it. At 47 let’s just say my body didn’t feel like it did even 10 years ago. The aches and pains and tightness when I wake up, Trying to bend over to put my shoes on and sit for too long due to my back issues. However I made a commitment to myself to get my butt back in the gym, change my life style not only outwardly but inwardly. I’m happy to say I have been consistently going to the gym again 5-6 days a week. Completely overhauled my diet, yes I track everything I eat, and I mean everything. While I have not hit my goals yet, my stats are trending in the right direction both in weight loss, body fat and increase in strength and overall wellbeing. Even my blood work is improving. It’s a small win for now, but each time I show up for myself, it’s a win.
