The Warfare Around You Is Not Random
I was reflecting on the past few weeks, the warfare, the attacks, and the challenges. There are times when the enemy knows he cannot defeat you, so he shifts his strategy. He releases relentless pressure to throw you off balance and distract you from the destiny set before you. The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Corinthians 16:9 that “a great and effectual door is opened unto me, and there are many adversaries.” This reveals something powerful. Warfare is often an indicator that a door has opened. The resistance is not proof that you are off course. It may be confirmation that you are exactly where you need to be. One of the things the Lord is emphasizing in this hour is to maintain your regimen. Occupy your prayer life. Stay anchored in the Word. Remain committed to study. The disciplines that brought you into this dimension must be sustained if you are going to remain there. What carried you cannot now be neglected. Reinforce the power of community in your life. Scripture declares that iron sharpens iron. You were never designed to navigate warfare in isolation. God uses covenant relationships to strengthen, refine, and stabilize you in moments of pressure. The key is to keep moving forward. Isaac encountered opposition as he re-dug the wells of his father, yet he did not stop. He continued until God made room for him. That making of room is not accidental. It is the manifestation of dominion and authority that is released when you successfully endure and respond correctly to the moment. Now hear this clearly as a people in formation. You are not just learning prophetic language. You are being formed into prophetic people. Formation requires pressure. Formation requires consistency. Formation requires submission to process. What you are experiencing is not interruption. It is development. The Lord is strengthening your ability to remain steady under pressure. He is building your capacity to hear clearly in the midst of noise. He is establishing you so that your response is not emotional, but governed. This is how prophets are matured.

Sir, you’re speaking to me!!! This was literally a conversation I had with a woman of God yesterday. Other schemes didn’t work so he has been looking for other ways to slow down momentum, BUT GOD. With everything that has transpired in the past few months, he is mad and wants to prevent further development and freedom in others around me and development in myself. I am learning to push and press in increased pressure and warfare. Currently I’m working on maintaining consistency and discipline. Thank you for this encouragement!! I thank God that He is consistent. Therefore, I have the ability to be consistent. It is the year of Yahweh, and I shall see manifestation of His word. God too, shall get the glory in this!

I am addressing the gate for family, women, marriage and the workplace. As I continue to strive for change and impact these gates, I want people to see God when we speak to the mountain! Within these gates I desire to be more intentional with relationships, conversations and time. I desire to see women and the people of God break free, be equipped, begin to walk in their identity and understanding that they too have all power and authority. A part of guarding the gates is being able to equip others to do so also. In doing this, I have to keep a balance of fulling my purpose without compromising my time with God, family, and the people in which God is connecting us with. I must increase my intercession and prayer time if I want to continue to see effectiveness. I cannot do this without God! I must be attentive, steward and study each relationship as each individual struggles in one or more areas. This requires me to love despite frustrations, listen, strategize and to articulate conversations that can be impactful to each individual overriding the lies of the enemy. The enemy likes to bring distraction, disruptions, and drainage, that it can affect my output. There are days where life feels fast with all that we have going on and yet, I feel like I haven’t been productive, but i’m tapped out. Im having to learn balance, boundaries, discipline and consistency. I recently have been inspired by a friend who mentioned that she journals her day by nearly the hour. This helps her with consistency, organization, improvements and planning for the following day (if she missed anything). Ive journaled prayers and dreams, but never my whole day. So, for the next 60 days, I plan to lay out my day, journal and track my days with the goal to obtain more consistency and intentionality in everything that I do. The Lord has also been calling me to increase my fasting life. I will fast to see the breakthrough and I will press into intercession and hear what heaven is saying and declare heaven’s decree for the people. Two years ago a woman of God came up to me with a much needed Word from the Lord and He said, “Don’t be too hard on yourself, slow down, you’re going too fast. I may tell you to look to your left or to your right and I don’t want you to miss what I’m trying to show you.” This has always stuck with me! I do not want to miss what the Lord is saying or what He is trying to show me, I must be more intentional to be able to effectively move with God.

As mentioned last week the gates God has positioned me to occupy is family, marriage, women and the workplace. The breach and disorder I see that all these gates have in common is a lack of identity, bondage and wounds caused by rejection, confusion, and unsound doctrine. Starting with my family, my mother is a prophet, she was rejected as child, never knew her identity, never has been cultivated, never walked in the office, or was taught how to properly function in her gifts. Now at the age of 68, God has been uprooting and reteaching her as He is teaching me and my husband. This has impacted our family and as much that has come in through the gate, the enemy has came and caused delay, havoc, bondage, wounds, confusion due to unsound doctrine, and has stolen many years of her occupancy due lack of knowledge. This isn’t her fault, she was never taught, nor had the proper community, and needed healing, deliverance and restoration. Through this gate entered religion, condemnation, rejection, resentment, witchcraft and strife. With my family, one of the things that has made it hard for them to accept me, is what they’ve been exposed to in a church and past hurts from my mother (though she is not that person anymore). This breaks my heart because we all know what God can do if they surrender. With marriages, one or both parties may not be secure in their identity, mis informed, and or wounded and bound with strongholds causing reoccurring strife. Some have not been taught the importance of covenant and God’s standard for marriage and have become accustom to marriage being a marriage relationship rather than a marriage covenant causing dishonor in the marriage and with God. We know this, the enemy hates Godly covenant and seeks to kill, steal and destroy. My mother was rejected from her father and endured abuse. She went through three marriages and for many years her and her children took every kind of abuse because she was taught to endure and submit. She didn’t know her worth, suffered from rejection, and felt hopeless, and she was doing what the Hispanic culture and religion taught her. Here we see the pattern caused by the breaches and disorder.

@Woody Jarrett it has helped me change and examine my responses when rejection comes. It is very devastating, and in fact one of the most common roots of a stronghold alongside unforgiveness. It is tough sometimes yes, but knowing whose I am and believing I am who He says I am, it has been easier to spot the lies and schemes of the enemy. The goal is to bear His image and His likeness. Sonship helps me do this. If I don’t examine myself, watch my response, and discern in situations and arguments, things like reactions, words curses and missed invitations to the family outings, can open the door or feed the spirit of rejection. What looks like division and discord among the family with the natural eye Is actually the spirit of rejection and familiar groupings of spirits working together. Yes rejection tries to come, and I too have to cast down the thoughts and imaginations, making it submit to Christ Jesus, and hammering the lies with the Word of God. Otherwise, rejection will come and torment myself and my loved ones furthermore. I will continue to love and stand as a peace maker. I refuse to let the enemy do the very thing he was sent to do. The Lord receives me and God has given me my family in Christ whom which has walked with me through some hard times. I am so grateful to the Lord for this. Blessings!

@Krista Cooksey I love your willingness and desire to continue on with your grandmothers vision for the family. I too am preparing to get my mother’s will and trust established. We have a family property in which we all reside and only me and mother being followers of Christ. The spiritual warfare can be heavy on the property and the enemy has been trying to take the land from under her, but God!! I know it’s hard for her to make certain decisions, but she too has asked me and my husband to handle the affairs and fight the good fight for our family. I know there will be backlash, resistance and rejection but God will carry me through. Your doing is encouraging.

@Ralphael Robinson your response made me shed a few tears. Thank you for the encouragement. Your question made me think. How far does He truly want this to go? How does he want this to look? What will some of these kingdom relationships grow into? This truly is bigger than us. This question is actually something I have asked the Lord, especially in regard to women. There are women that the Lord has sent my way that want freedom, growth, and truth and in which I knew they would come because He showed me through dreams. I know that these specific ones are kingdom/covenant relationships in the making. The Lord truly is aligning His people. We are not ones to dismiss or neglect people. So for us, developing sustained growth and transformation looks like a mentorship. I am big on helping others, mentorship and carrying each other‘s burdens. We try to make ourselves available, engage, and fellowship regularly. We have done outreach for homeless individuals providing food and hygiene products but I have a desire to do more and provide clothing and hygiene products for women, children, and low income families. This would eventually expand to a pantry. I am praying for confirmation if this is the direction in which He desires me to take and asking for a name. Our desire one day is to have a women’s, children’s, and men’s home that would give them a new life (freedom, healing, mentorship, and preparation for independent living), set them on the path of their purpose, and show them that God truly has plans to give them hope and a future. I don’t know how God is going to do it, but I know that He’s going to do it. Until then, God is teaching us and taking us through our process.
What Gates Has God Authorized Me To Influence?
I Believe The Gates God Has Authorized Me To Influence Are First And Foremost Within My Family, Among Women, And Within The Church. These Are The Places Where I Consistently Find Myself Praying, Encouraging, And Offering Spiritual Support. I Feel A Deep Responsibility To Guard These Spaces Through Prayer, Wisdom, And Discernment. Over The Years, My Involvement In Community Service Especially That Which Assist Women Has Also Allowed Me To Minister To Others Outside Of My Immediate Circle, Which I Believe May Also Be A Gate God Has Entrusted To Me. One Thing That Has Confirmed This Calling For Me Is The Way God Has Given Me The Ability To See And Discern Things That Others May Not Immediately Notice. Many People Come To Me For Spiritual Direction, Prayer, And Advice, And I Do Not Take That Lightly Even Though I Feel So Unqualified. My Life Of Prophetic Intercession And Spiritual Warfare In Prayer Has Become A Major Part Of How I Serve Others And Stand In The Gap For Them. Even Though I Am The Youngest Among My Siblings And Cousins, God Has Still Placed Me In A Position Where I Mentor Several Of Them. It Has Been A Blessing To See Them Grow Closer To Jesus As I Follow The Leading Of The Holy Spirit. Though I Am Shocked That They Look At Me In This Way, I Have Finally Embraced That I Was Chosen By God Before Time To Step Into This Role Because He Desires The Reconciliation Of My Bloodline Back Unto Him. One Of The Biggest Challenges I Face In This Assignment Is Weariness. At Times The Weight Of Carrying Others In Prayer And Leadership Can Feel Heavy. Unfortunately, The Opportunity For Offense Arises Often, Even Though I Recognize This As An Attack From The Enemy In An Effort To Cause Me To Abort The Assignment Or Come Off The Wall. I Also Recognize That It Is A Divine Opportunity To Develop Spirit Muscles In The Areas Of Faith, Endurance And Maturity. Even In My Weak Moments, I Continue To Give God My Yes And Trust Him To Strengthen Me.

@Sabrina Roosevelt I understand what you mean when you say the weight of carrying others in prayer and leadership is heavy. I too am the youngest of my siblings and yet feel as though I’m the oldest. Majority of my friends are much older and yet I find myself listening and giving them wise counsel. Though it is heavy, it is an honor that God entrusts us to carry the weight, and it most definitely is blessing to see them grow. Our labor is not in vain! God bless you and your willingness to do for the Kingdom!
