Starter power cable routing options.
Hey fellow ICT billet’rs. During my project slow down I’m taking the time to fine tune things, clean and tweak. I dug out my starter tonight and cleaned it and considered my main power cabling options. Previously I used hose p-clamps hung off the oil pan bolts. I’m looking for cleaner ideas. Possibly an OEM bracket? (Threw mine away years ago) Or if ICT Billet has a solution I couldn’t find on the site? Pic for attention.

@Tj Johnson it always impresses me how much these engines can take and still take more.

One day soon I’ll post in the show room… once I’m moving forward instead of back. 😝
The Rebuild - Heat Wave Edition
Tried to stab the engine/trans in today, which was the only day I have free until next month, but without help and the 100% humidity lead to some heat stroke symptoms by noon. So put the drivetrain back on the cart and tinkered some while hydrating. Mocked up all the lines I could while I had full access. The oil pan drain is still a roll of the dice as the frame cross member is right there. 🤞 Won’t know if I got it right this time until it goes in.

The Rebuild Pt 8 - The Catch up
Life got in the way. Been chipping away late at night or between disasters. I’m virtually ready to drop it back into the car minus the time. So I’ve begun mocking up other things. Tweaking or refining things I did the first time years ago with what I learned to do better along the way. Like using AN4 braided PTFE lines for boost reference hoses for cleaner routing and heat resistance.
