First Fire Up !!
Got everything ready for my tuner to stop by and get a start up tune loaded , getting dial in the next few weeks. Few bugs to work out small leak from the bottom of the ICT oil pressure sensor adapter. But overall a very successful first fire 🍾

Super pumped first drive for me (tuner drove it last time) soooo smooth, just need to 8 speed to shift , I did not have time to add more fluid I only have 10 quarts in it and believe the trans is in a limp mode. Tuner said not to worry.

Where do you find the time?
Not posting this for answers but instead venting frustrations and would love to hear others stories on how you do it. For example me , 8-5 M-F working for the man, first responder to major weather events which may include weekends. I work with my dad every Saturday either on someone’s LT/LS engine or our c10 trucks 64,65,66 , Sunday is reserved for family/friends and car shows. I also created content for my small but loyal YouTube channel which takes a tremendous amount of time and effort. I have been working on my 66 c10 for 3 years now and I am at what I would say is the final push, but lately I can’t even touch the truck. I am too busy working on other peoples stuff which is a good problem to have but dam. I have everything I need to finish what I consider as a bad ass patina truck and have done everything myself and I mean everything. I will throw in a few pics but would love to hear from others on how you do it or make the time for your own project.

Running 3” was definitely not the easiest! Not a lot of wiggle room through the trailing arm crossmember . Used the flowmaster 40s that were still on the truck when I brought it.
Time to lean? You got time to clean!
While in parts jail I decided to spend a couple of hours listening to Zep and cleaning up an old set of heads. What’s your go to trick for getting out that caked on carbon?

What’s your go to cleaner ? I have used simple green (kinda works) super clean works but you can’t leave it on long or it’s starts to eat at the aluminum.

Suspension limit straps
So I ordered some limit straps for my c10 , as I am still building the exhaust system it’s annoying when my front coil springs falls out of the pocket. Is this just a me problem or is this a common issue with the lowered crowd ?
