Choose a word beginning with “CON” and expose the con hiding inside it. Connection. Confidence. Conversation. Consideration. Make the word betray its own meaning. The Challenge: One word. One suspicious prefix. Up to five lines of linguistic mischief. _________ My Example: I thought we were having a CONversation. Turns out you were just CONverting my words into evidence. Some people don’t communicate; they cross-examine. The con is in the word. Your job is to catch it.
