I was reminded this week while at the Benefit Auction Summit that a THANK YOU goes a long way. I feel like too often our non-profit clients and us don't reach out and say thank you enough. That's my challenge for the next week: to reach out to my past clients and future clients and send them a simple thank-you note. What are you going to do in the next 7 days to further your relationships with your community?

I heard a great idea at the Billion Dollar Brunch put on by @Bobby D. Ehlert. One of the attendees sends a Starbucks card the morning of the event and tells them to enjoy a drink on them to celebrate auction day.

I like holding numbers longer like you mentioned. If utilized properly it really can make an impact. I was watching back some videos from the last sale and was realizing I was doing that already.
