@Brian A Avelar Lots of flying! But the event went well, slight up on last years totals. Some tough items and some awesome items.

@Brian A Avelar that’s awesome! Good for you! I am doing a breakfast fundraiser next Saturday. No auction; just a paddle raise.

Happy Friday everyone! At the airport heading to the next auction…just a little coffee talk. Keep rocking!

@Brian A Avelar & @Bobby D. Ehlert how were the events? Is the fall starting off strong like the spring ended?

Thank You
I was reminded this week while at the Benefit Auction Summit that a THANK YOU goes a long way. I feel like too often our non-profit clients and us don't reach out and say thank you enough. That's my challenge for the next week: to reach out to my past clients and future clients and send them a simple thank-you note. What are you going to do in the next 7 days to further your relationships with your community?

I heard a great idea at the Billion Dollar Brunch put on by @Bobby D. Ehlert. One of the attendees sends a Starbucks card the morning of the event and tells them to enjoy a drink on them to celebrate auction day.
