Had a great coaching session with one of our Skoolers today and we were talking about building a better cattle rattle. One piece of a great bid call is utilizing what I call a "Pop Phrase." This can be in many different fashions but finding what works best for your chant, your mouth and vocal chords and your tone. Here's a couple examples: “Six now, six now, six now…” “Bid at six, bid at six…” “Seven on, seven on, seven on…” “Eight and, eight and, eight and…" Now, Bid, On, And being your "Pop Phrase." By repeating the number with this "Pop Phrase" you can build your rhythm and flow in your auction chant.

We had a bunch of Skoolers on our session with lots of great questions. We chatted about cold reach outs to nonprofits, finding rhythm in your chant with pop phrases and when to use clarification phrases combined with breathing.
