I’ve just realised why your comment resonated with me so deeply, it felt liberating. For many women with ADHD, the hyperactivity isn't always visible. It's in our minds, our thoughts, and the constant mental noise. We become so skilled at masking and fitting into society's expectations that the mask eventually becomes our identity. I've always wanted to take risks, try different paths, and live more freely, but instead I boxed myself into a system because I thought that was what I was supposed to do. Follow the rules. Be responsible. Fit in. For years, I convinced myself it was too late to change. But your energy sparking something in me. The desire for freedom, purpose, and a different way of living doesn’t have an expiry date. Living in a system never designed for the way my brain is wired. Thank you Nick and to you all, just to connect was great and that I am freaking not alone!

Hi 👋 everyone. Im Fazeela 45 late diagnosed AuDHD. Im here as I am physically, mentally and emotionally depleted and one comment from Nick which stood out from 100's of comments on a Facebook post seeking help. I guess the ADHDer light bulb 💡 flickered a glimmer of hope again
Generic bio of ME
Hi everyone, Im a 45 year old late diagnosed AuDHD mother of 3 neurodivergent children who are thriving yet Im surviving. Years of self sacrifice and on journey to heal the inner child who was always invisible, unheard and misunderstood as being overly sensitive. Years of masking my quirks to a point of exhaustion. Grieving the the inner child who was never seen and now stuck in system and loop which physically and emotionally sucked the living identity out of me 🥹
