My Journey with The Board
It was April last year when I picked a Checkatrade magazine and found @Mike Greene advert with 20mins free consultation. This is when my life changed. During the 20min free consultation @Mike Greene gave me a lot of tips including simple things like keeping my truck clean ,clean uniform , small changes that has made so much difference to my business. Old school flyers : 10 houses to the left 10 house to the right on jobs has resulted in us doing 6houses on the same Close with 2/3 Bathrooms each. Rebranded my truck , my entire business , logo ,new uniform and brand new attitude. Rumour started going around my area that Godfrey’s C & G Plumbers Ltd had landed an Investor for his business. The transformation was that good. Pre qualifications on all my leads , on the spot sale handshakes , pricing and all we have learnt through what was Growth Syndicate and now The Board’s weekly meetings has tripled my business from constantly looking for work to being booked 4 months ahead and having to control work influx until we employ at least 2 experienced bathroom fitters. Air Condition Installations will definitely help us in scaling our Business too. Why am I posting this ? 1: To say thank you to @Mike Greene for all you have done for us since April 2025 2: For anyone out there thinking to travel this journey with @Mike Greene The Board : IS A GAME CHANGER 💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽 3: To say thank you to all The Board members for the amazing positive energy on this group Attending The Board’s weekly meetings is a proven way of recharging the mindset and keep me laser focus to scaling my business PS @Mike Greene this is not AI generated 🤣🤣 🚀🚀🚀 🙏🙏🙏
Street-Smarts or Academia??
Which matters more when it comes to building a successful business? Through my Success Is A System podcast, and decades of global business and networking I’ve met extraordinary people at both ends of the spectrum. Some have several degrees, remarkable academic intelligence and world-class expertise in their chosen fields. I’ve also interviewed people who received very little, if any formal education, including Gypsy billionaire Alfie Best, who was taken out of school before exams age, and whose wealth has been reported at $1.2 billion, and centi-millionaire entrepreneurs such as Charlie Mullins, Kevin Byrne and Neville Wright. Education can provide knowledge, discipline and an invaluable foundation. But I sometimes wonder whether it can also become a restriction: - ...teaching people to seek the correct answer, follow an established path and avoid failure, - ...when entrepreneurship frequently demands the opposite. I say that as someone awarded an honorary doctorate in education, but also as someone brought up in poverty, who went bankrupt and subsequently built a business operating across 20 countries. I’ve experienced the value of both. Academia can teach you what is known. Street smarts can teach you what to do when none of the accepted answers work. The strongest entrepreneurs probably combine the two, but if you had to weight them, which matters more? Vote below, and tell me why in the comments. What matters most when building a successful business?

Really tricky I had gone for 100% on either but I changed to 70% street / 30% academia as that kind of what I see in myself 🤔😊
How do you start your day?
With problems? With thoughts? With feelings? Or with intent, action and focus? Most people wake up and immediately hand control of their day to someone else. Emails. News. Social media. Messages. Worries. Before they’ve even got out of bed, they’re reacting instead of leading. I try to do something different. Fresh air. A walk. A glass of water. A few minutes of movement. Time to think. Time to notice what’s around me. Time to decide how I’m going to show up today. One thing I’ve learnt after mentoring thousands of business owners is this: - Thoughts and feelings aren’t facts. - Thinking about the gym doesn’t make you fitter. - Feeling like making that sales call doesn’t win the client. - Wanting a better business doesn’t build one. ….Action does. Most people don’t fail because they lack ambition. They fail because they never turn intention into action. So here’s my question… How are you going to start your day ? Not what will you think. Not what will you feel. What will you do? Because it’s rarely a lack of intent that holds us back. It’s a lack of action. Intend. Act. Do. Succeed.

Thank you very much @Mike Greene for your help. I finally got a response from Google regarding my business profile that has been suspended for over a year. I had written so many emails with not solution or even a response to try and rectify this. Took your advice yesterday at the Growth Syndicate meeting yesterday and wrote to the CEO straight away and yes I got an email this afternoon from the Google business support team saying they have been instructed to help me 🎉🎉 Hooray 🕺🏼🕺🏼 the is the best email I have recieved in a long time . Thank you @Mike Greene The POWER OF Growth Syndicate 💪🏽💪🏽🚀🚀

10 Breakthrough principles of Neville Goddard 🔑
Everything you want is already yours. You just haven't relaxed enough to receive it. I am a great Fan of Neville Goddard - his wisdom, calrity and understanding of human behaviour is second to none: ...So I went deep on Goddard this week and pulled out the ten laws that matter most. Read slowly. 👇 1️⃣ STRIVING IS A SIGNAL When you chase money, you announce that you don't have it. Every anxious push, every frantic hustle, sends out the same message: it's not here yet, and I'm afraid it never will be. And the world simply hands you back more of exactly that. The chase is the very thing keeping it away. Think of training a horse. Chase it round the field and it bolts, kicks out, and there's a good chance you get hurt. But turn your back and walk off as if you couldn't care less, and something shifts. It follows you. It comes after you, because it cannot stand being ignored. Money behaves the same way. Stop chasing, and watch what starts walking towards you. 2️⃣ YOUR DESIRE IS THE EVIDENCE That pull you feel towards something isn't a sign it's missing. It's a sign it's got your name on it. The wanting is the first delivery, the proof it's already on its way. We make the mistake of reading desire as a gap, as a painful reminder of what we don't have. But Goddard flips that completely. The desire is the confirmation, not the lack. A craftsman doesn't dream of building something he has no skill for. The idea only lands in the mind that's already equipped to make it real. The vision shows up in you because you are the one meant to carry it out. So the next time you feel that deep longing, stop treating it as evidence of absence. Treat it as the receipt. 3️⃣ FEELING COMES FIRST Most people wait to see the money before they let themselves feel wealthy. They want the proof on the screen first, then they'll allow the confidence. But it runs the other way round entirely. The feeling comes first, and the world rearranges itself to match it. You are a thermostat, not a thermometer. A thermometer just reads the room and reports back whatever is already there. A thermostat sets the temperature and the room obeys. Most people live as thermometers, reacting to whatever their circumstances show them. The wealthy live as thermostats. They decide the inner temperature first, and let the outer world catch up.
