🌮 Cheesy Taco Potato Bowls
Ingredients - 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey - 4–5 medium potatoes, diced - 1 small onion, diced - 1 packet taco seasoning - 1 cup shredded cheese - 1 cup corn - Salsa - Salt, pepper & garlic powder - Small amount of oil Optional toppings: sour cream, Greek yogurt, green onion, jalapeños, black beans, avocado or hot sauce. Directions 1. Dice potatoes into small cubes. Toss with a little oil, salt, pepper and garlic powder. 2. Air fry at 400°F for 18–22 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden and crispy. 3. While the potatoes cook, brown the ground beef and onion in a frying pan. 4. Drain if necessary, then add taco seasoning and a splash of water. Stir in the corn and cook another 2–3 minutes. 5. Divide crispy potatoes into bowls and top with the taco meat mixture. 6. Add shredded cheese while everything is hot so it melts. 7. Top with salsa and whatever other toppings you like. 🔥 Optional: Put the assembled bowls under the broiler for 2–3 minutes to get the cheese extra bubbly and browned.

Meal ideas please 😭
Okaaaaayyyy I need help!!! Every few months I get pissed off that I have to keep figuring out what to eat 3x a day for the rest of my life (I fully acknowledge that this is very much a first world problem) and I am trying to make a list of just plain old options. I dont care if its something you eat everyday that's boring as hell like spaghetti or chicken and rice. I am looking for random ass suggestions for meals- breakfast lunch or dinner. Don't count anything out- if you think no one else will like it: doesnt matter still post it! One of us might like it. You can share one meal or twenty. recipe or just the name of it. quick meal or takes forever to make. healthy or not. doesnt matter. What do you make for supper? what is your current hyperfixation?? I am entirely non creative and I really just wanna have more ideas beyond going to the grocery store and buying ground beef/turkey/pork and chicken. thank youuuuuuu in advance

Another over-share 😎
My sister would have been 40 today. She passed away on March 7, 2015, and for whatever reason, I made the “mistake” today of going back and looking through her Facebook. That hit me a lot harder than I expected. I’ve always thought I handled her birthday and the anniversary of her passing pretty well over the years. But today made me wonder if maybe I didn’t handle it as well as I thought. Maybe I just got really good at blocking out some of the feelings and carrying on. Seeing her pictures, reading old posts, seeing her name and little pieces of a life that feels both so long ago and like yesterday brought a lot of it back. Grief is strange like that. You can go months or years feeling like you’re okay, and then something small opens a door you thought you had closed. A picture. A song. A birthday. A memory. And suddenly the sadness is right there again. But I also think that’s part of loving someone and losing them. You don’t necessarily “get over” it. You just learn how to carry it while continuing to live your life. There are going to be hard days. There are going to be moments when sadness wins for a little while. And I think it’s okay to let yourself feel those moments instead of always trying to push them away. Then you keep going. You work. You laugh. You raise your family. You build things. You make memories. You appreciate the people who are still here. And you carry a little piece of the people you’ve lost with you through all of it. Life keeps moving, and somehow we find a way to move with it. Happy 40th birthday, sis. Wish you were here. ❤️

I can't even imagine what it's like to lose a sibling, and I am so sorry for those who have had to go through it and live through the grief. wally's sister died when she was 15 from an aneurysm (he was 13). I wish so badly that I could have known her. I wish he didn't have to talk about his only sibling in the past tense. There are so many things I could wish for for him and his family. I think one great way to help with the grief of losing a loved one is to never stop talking about them. Tell stories about them, talk about what they loved to do or absolutely hated (my grandad absolutely fucking hated peas- I think of him everytime I see them). I love hearing stories about wally's sister. she seemed like such a fun big sister and they spent a lot of time together. I'd be happy to hear stories about anyone who wants to share memories of their loved ones

1️⃣ What was your biggest WIN this summer? Started to feel more in control of my snacking 2️⃣ What was your biggest STRUGGLE? Snacking and getting steps in 3️⃣ Did this challenge help keep you more accountable? yes 4️⃣ What did you LIKE most about it? I definitely worked harder to move my body than I would have without you guys 5️⃣ What would you CHANGE or ADD next time? ummm maybe daily challenges that require more mental effort than physical- like no screens for x hours or something i dunno 😭 6️⃣ Where are you right now, and what’s your goal heading into fall? still working on snacking better, trying to figure out a routine that works for me so I can do better with suppers. my goal is to try and keep motivated to move/walk more in the fall/winter because I seriously hate the cold. might get a walking pad lol.
