Day 19: The Sunrise Song That Changed Everything
I wanted to share a raw, honest piece of my journey with you all. For the past couple of days, I have been dedicating myself to my Happy Cells and Happy Brain songs. On Day 18, my practice was sporadic, but every single word I sang was deeply meant. Today is Day 19. As the sun was rising this morning, I stood up and sang my most challenging songs. It was a beautiful, emotional moment as the light broke through. Lately, I’ve been noticing real, tangible shifts in my life: - In my body: I’ve lost a little weight simply from the energy of singing these challenging songs, and I can feel it in the way my clothes fit. - In my mind: My thoughts are no longer racy. Heavy emotions used to trap me for hours, but they don't anymore. - In my home: I look at the tasks around me and refuse to see them as delays or procrastination. I just see steps forward. - In my physical healing: I am currently navigating a severe injury, which means I have to manoeuvre through life with deep diligence and patience. I won't lie; these songs have been my lifeline. They have helped me pull myself out of depression and escape the heavy weight of loneliness. Even though I am physically alone, I truly believe there is love out there in the world. I believe it, and I receive it. Today feels like the start of a completely new chapter. A fresh spark has been lit, and I’ve been given a true chance to shine all over again. I am a whole lot stronger, especially in my mind. I am moving forward, chasing pure joy, and trusting that the fire in me isn't just kindled; it is burning bright. Thank you for letting me share my space and my story. The best chapters are ahead. 🌅🔥✨

Basically at that three week mark. It’s almost engrained in your psyche. I don’t know if this is gonna work but it sure felt wonderful doing it the first three or four times or should I say nine or 10 times as I was trying to learn it. I was quite pumped and excited my first day.Today is day three for myself.

I’m happy and blessed to have this come across my plate. I’m such a wreck. This is one of the first things that I can at least do. I enjoy singing. So this is something that I hope will start to heal this 26 year train wreck. I’m up in Canada. Hello to everybody.

I just hope I can remember to do this. My short-term memory and overall memory it’s terrible. At age 62 I’m just happy to be here. Healthcare in Canada may be free, but it certainly is lacking, especially with mental health. I was a first responder for 2 1/2 years from age 18 to 20 in a small town where my family started the first land based ambulance service in 1963 a year before I was born. as a 6‘6“ tall 300 pound athletic young man. I moved to Toronto and started doing executive protection eventually leading into starting my own close protection service.I did that for 20 years. I’m so broken. Be careful what you wish for.
