@Sarah Oase have you tried like bunion pads? Idk if that’s what they are called but you can stick them to your feet for cushion
Congratulations!
Congratulations to @Job Darpolor for his class win yesterday in classic physique, just missing out on the overall and starting off a king season strong. And to @Lisa Smieska for overall wins in both women’s bodybuilding and fitbody, qualifying for the Canadian nationals and World championships.

Client Cases
There are at minimum 30 of you in here that are either physios or fitness professionals, and @Jacob Templar and myself are here to help. As we close down the work week, reflect back on your client and patient encounters and drop your complex cases below. Pick our brains, get the community's help, let's think tank our way through your cases.

@Spencer Fang @Diego Alcober @Abed Santoso @Tobias Gunnesch @Daniel Dück anything interesting come up in clinic or gyms this week?
Volume cycling
Has anyone heard of the term volume cycling? Or changing how many sets you do or abstaining from training an area to try to “resensitize ” a muscle group to grow? What have your experiences with it been? And what are your thoughts on that as a concept if you hadn’t heard of it?

@Sarah Oase some say like completely resting or dropping volume down really really low for a body part. I’d imagine what happens is some cell swelling reduces and might have other fluid changes so then when you add it back in it feels like you’ve grown way more

@Sarah Oase maybe the topic was about if a woodchuck and wood? 😂
Cardio
How often are yall doing cardio? Only during prep or pretty regularly every week? I'm trying to decide if buying a cardio machine is worth it. I know it'll be nice to have for these last 3 weeks of prep but after that I'm not sure. I know I'm going to have a garage gym soon but I don't want it collecting dust in there. Im buying used so I guess I could always resell it after..

I do cardio regularly but again I’m not a true competitor for bodybuilding. I’m doing running, sprints or other general preparation very frequently. Part of why I enjoy having a garmin watch because it will just track that for me
