@Karen Cox the roses were Christina's method ... Really had fun with it. I'd love to be able to wire a bouquet properly
Calendar Update 📅 + NEW Tea, Cake & Chat ☕🍰
I’ve now updated the Cake Craft Club calendar right through to the end of the year, so you can have a look ahead and see what’s coming up over the next few months. I’m also thinking of adding a brand new little social feature — Tea, Cake & Chat. This would be a relaxed, self-led Zoom catch-up for members. I won’t be there — it’s simply a space for you guys to pop on with a cuppa, have a chat, get to know each other, work on projects together or just have some company while you create. Before I finalise it in the calendar, let me know what you think below 👇 Would Tuesday work for you? What time would suit you best? Would this be something you'd come along too? Would you like occasional make-together sessions too or just chat hours? Let me know your thoughts and I’ll finalise everything by the end of the week. 💕

I think masterclass is Monday? Is it possible to put a poll on here for best day?
Can we have a quick Cake Craft Club chat? ❤️
As much as I REALLY want to get our safari cake finished 😂, we’ve now had two months of modelling. And I’m very aware that some of you joined the club because you love the sugar flowers too, so I don’t want you sitting there thinking, Christina… where are my flowers?! 😂🌸 So I’m thinking… 🌸 Flowers this month — Sweet Peas or Freesias. 🦁 Then we go back to the safari and potentially do two safari animals in one month so we can get that gorgeous cake FINISHED! What do we think? AGREE or DISAGREE? 👇

Woohoo - another sensation, great job ... shame you didn't get to stay for the party by the sounds of it!
4th July Housewarming Party
My good Americans friends had a house warming party at the same time as celebrating 4th July. They asked me to do a cake. So here is the result. It is nearly as I wanted it but with the heat on the butter cream and font it was not easy. Lifting the font from the bench to the cake was not fun as the font was so soft. The inserting of 50 stars into the font was interesting. I made a few mistakes which I have learnt for the next cake. The cake was not level but luckily this was not noticeable by the guests that I knew! I did the sponges in the 3 colours which people were impressed and it tasted good. So all in all I was quiet happy. The cupcakes were gluten free. And my so American friends in front of the USA flag.
