Day 3 Done 🥳 Catching up 🙌
I was taken aback by how emotional I became answering the third question for Day 3 AI. The mind loop playing on repeat: “You’re always late, no matter how hard you try.” The reframe: “I am improving my attitude and developing a healthier mindset on my way to learning new strategies and tools that will equip me to more easily move through life showing up at the times and places when and where I want to arrive.” Progress is always the goal. Perfection is only ever an illusion.

💡 Tips
Decluttering
Before you keep something "just in case", ask yourself, "If I didn't already own this, would I go out and buy it today?" If the answer is no, it might be time to let it go. What do you think? I have loads of “just in case” things but never thought of it that way

That’s a great perspective! I realized my “just in case” comes from a poverty mindset. Even when finances are good, I’m afraid they will dip again and if I need the item I won’t have money to buy it. So, my tweak to the question might be: If I didn’t have this item and needed it but didn’t have the money to buy it, what would I really be missing out on?

@Candice Morrison it’s my understanding that the ranking is achieved through the point acquisition process. I could be wrong though. I am new to all of this!

@Linda Trup congratulations on your great reward!! Well deserved! I’m so excited for your continued ADHD Harmony journey! I realized my points didn’t disappear - they continued in the total that’s lower down the leaderboard page.

Day 2 finished WIN 💪
The masks I chose from the examples given in the prompt were are perfectionist, overachiever, people pleaser, and invisible one. Caretaker and controller also fit. I’m feeling convicted. I realize how all of those were adapted instinctively when I was young. It wasn’t something I had to ability to process and make an active decision about. Through this process I’m realizing how ineffective they are. How I’m working so much harder than I need to be working in the whole time not even being who I really am! Initially, I think being who I am will be a lot harder, but ultimately, I can see how it will require a whole lot less energy! The person I was as a child before the world intervened, was carefree, little girl who got to hang out and be relaxed and adored by her retired grandfather. Our days were slow, unhurried, and unburdened together. Then he died suddenly in my presence at 4 1/2 years old. Within a year, that kindergarten teacher wrote on my report card that I talked too much. I’m certain she had let me know that in person before my mother read it on that report card. I shared more about that in a previous post. My world that had gotten incredibly unsafe just months before, suddenly got even less safe. My heart breaks for that little me. The adults around me had their world shattered, too, and I’m quite sure where ill-equipped to cope, let alone to help me cope. I have done steps1 and 2 of my micro tasks, which were to get out a piece paper and pen, and write a name at the top. I’m not going to lie, I continued tohave resistance at first. Remarkably, even this tiny bit still.felt like a monumental task. But then I told myself it really wasn’t asking too much and I could do this. I realized I had explicit instructions to start and stop with these two steps.Suddenly, a weight lifted and.I felt empowered to get out a piece of pape and a pen, and write a name at the top! Thank you, @Jim Ebbelaar, what remarkable tools that provide insight, clarity, and practical steps to get moving forward! I’m ever so grateful.
