AI Agents for Managers - this Thursday. Last post about AI for a while.
I've been using AI agents for months, and I want to show you what actually works. We will go through 3 levels - basic automation with LLM, outsourcing meeting management to agents, to full vibe-coding prototypes. The point of the workshop is to showcase what you can do but also to get you thinking about what can be done and how you can start. After this workshop, I'm taking a break from AI content for a bit. There's more to leadership than AI. Thursday, August 13th @ 4–5 pm Vancouver time meet.google.com/cvz-seqs-mbf

Looking forward to your presentation Gerard!
Next leadership workshop - help me pick the topic
Next up is a leadership workshop. I have a few ideas but I want to pick something that's actually useful to you right now. BTW Budgeting Part 2 recording is up in the classroom if you missed last week -> https://www.skool.com/lip/classroom/0fe3aec1?md=0f9de03009c747fd802c299551efd216

AI for generating themed PowerPoint presentations
I need to do a short introduction to lean six sigma for my team, and I'd like to make a PowerPoint presentation to accompany my dialogue. To make it interesting, I'm planning to make it themed around Judo and the similarities between Judo and LSS. I am really struggling to get the AI built into PowerPoint 365 to make the modifications I am asking for. @Gerard Pietrykiewicz I know you've mentioned in the past some quality AI options for nice slides... even if paid I just want it done. Any recommendations/suggestions? Thanks! Jeff

Can you resend the referral link for Manus? I think I was signed in as a guest during the original training.

Thank you Gerard
I got reported on
Teams on my current project are not forced to follow any specific SLA's, but there is an expectation of a timely delivery of tasks and issues that might arise. The problem is the word "timely". What does it really mean? This past weekend, some new issues were raised, and on Monday, before 10 am, they were already escalated to the VP level in my org. How do any of you deal with this type of escalation?

Well I work in manufacturing and we run 7 days a week. So if a critical resource goes down on the weekend my phone would ring and I would be taking immediate action. That said, I knew this going in and I know it also rarely happens in my department. I think timely is defined in the expectations either presented up front or perhaps as part of the company culture. It’s nice if possible to know up front about such expectations so you can prepare and structure your team accordingly.
Next Workshop – Help Me Choose the Topic
I’m planning our next Leaders in Progress workshop for November, and I’d love your input before locking it in. I’m considering two directions: Both are timely… but I’d rather pick what matters most to you right now.
