Happy Tool Watch Tuesday! With the long stretch of high heat we had, this fellow took a back seat for a while in favor of smaller and lighter pieces. But no more! Today, nay their be a drop of rain or mud in sight, the Mudman returns! I can't put my finger on it exactly, but there is just something about this Casio G-Shock Mudman G-9000-1V that has resonated with me from the first time I saw it. The overall rounded design that I love? The yellow text highlights that perk it up a bit? The red push buttons? The clear display? It's "G-Shock-ness" and long list of features? All of it together? I've been traveling for work a lot lately and have been a 1 watch guy while on these trips. Now that I'm back for a couple of days I thought it would be great to break out the guilloché dial. There is something about this hand turned dial on a 100yr old machine that just has me mezmerized.
