I Gave Myself The Week Off… 😂
Well, sort of. Last week I decided to give myself a break from creating all the articles and extra bits and pieces that usually keep me occupied behind the scenes at SED. Not from SED itself. You weren't getting rid of me that easily. 😂 And actually, it was quite nice to stand back for a minute and realise just how much there is now for you to explore without me constantly creating something new. Because there is loads happening this week. Events are still being added to the website, there are all sorts of different subjects and communities represented, and you can now simply pop over whenever you fancy and see what's coming up. 👉 https://eventsdaily.online/events So I'm easing myself back into the articles and other bits this week. But in the meantime, go and have a nose around the events. Attend one. Support another SED member. Find someone you've never come across before. Or just be nosy and see what everyone else is up to. You know I'm always going to approve of that last one. 😂

Good on ya. Stepping back gives me gratitude - and perspective. It’s like resting when you’re hiking a trail and seeing how far you’ve come instead of always looking at how far you have to go.

🍂 Fall Into a New Morning Habit
Starting on September 22–the autumnal equinox–inside The Lounge: Midlife UNpaused Here's your opportunity to set your day to go your way - what's your excuse for not doing it? 😂 If you have a better one, add it below👇 The 7-day challenge will kickoff on Tuesday, September 22nd at 2:22 pm CDT| 3:22 pm EDT| 1:22 pm MDT | 12:22 pm PDT | 7:22 pm GMT ◯ Does hitting the snooze button three times count as a ritual? ◯ I checked my phone "just for a second." That was 47 minutes ago. ◯ I was going to journal, but I couldn't find a pen. In a house full of pens. ◯ My morning routine IS scrolling. It's research. I'm basically working. ◯ I set my intention. It was to go back to sleep. September is a season of fresh starts, new schedules, and the chance to end your year differently than it began. Starting Tuesday, September 22nd, the fall equinox, we're building a morning ritual together one simple practice at a time. Because how you start your morning sets the tone for your entire day, and when you own that first hour, you move through the rest of it calmer, clearer, and playing offense instead of defense. Seven days. Seven practices. One new relationship with your mornings. Drop your excuse below, and I'll see you Tuesday🌅🍂

@Krissi Driver that was me! And if I can beat the snooze button, anyone can. This could be your 7-day trial without it. You can always go back😅 You’d have company - my community members express the same thing. We’d love to have you🤗

@Krissi Driver thrilled to have you! I'll be making a post launching it this afternoon - but you'll be asleep. It'll be there for you when you wake💖

This is a VIP reminder about getting events properly registered and added to the SED calendar. VIP members need to do two separate things: complete the registration form to have their event included in the Weekly Bulletin, and use the Magic Button to add the event to the calendar. Even if an event has already been submitted for the Bulletin, it won’t automatically appear on the calendar, particularly recurring events. Once the Magic Button is set up, it’s very simple — press it and Heather receives the event information. The submission deadline is due shortly, but Heather is likely to extend it slightly as she’s running behind this week. If anyone has problems, they’re asked to explain clearly what isn’t working so Heather and Des can help. Main message: Get your events in, don’t forget the Magic Button, and shout if you need help. To make life easier here is the link to your classroom.

The last one was so great! Can’t wait.
If I have to hunt for the date, I’m not coming
So, I scrolled the feed with my morning tea and watched three decent events slide straight past me. Not because they were bad. But because I couldn't tell what day they were on. So the thing is. The events that fill up aren't actually the loudest. They're just the easiest to say yes to. So put the boring bit first. Date. Time. Timezone. How long it runs. Top of the post, not under the origin story. The reason is, people decide in about five seconds, and half of them are deciding on a phone with a readable cover image or nothing at all. Title it like a calendar invite. "Pricing workshop, Thu 7 pm ET" gets a look. "Unleash Your Abundance Era" gets scrolled. One line on who it's for helps more than people think. "New coaches under 500 members" is useful. "Everyone is welcome" usually means I can't tell if I belong there. Say how we get in. Skool Call, Zoom, replay later- just say it. If I have to ask, I probably won't. Then one sentence on what we walk away with. A pricing sheet. A live critique. A clearer offer. That's the pitch. You can stop after that. And post it before the morning of. The Weekly Bulletin is not a teleportation device 🚀😉 Same goes for finding one. Check the Calendar tab, not just whatever's sitting at the top today, and watch the timezone. 7 pm is a school-night evening in Texas and breakfast in New Zealand. @Heather Wilson missed calls over exactly that 😂 Going? Write "I'm in" or ask one real question. Hosts notice, and it bumps the post so the rest of us see it. Des
