🌄 The Landscape of the In Between
Liminal-scape: The landscape of the in between. The word liminal comes from the Latin limen, meaning “threshold.” It’s the place between where you’ve been and where you’re going. It’s the leap from one side of the canyon to the other.... not fully in the past, not fully in the future, but suspended in that space of becoming. That’s where transformation actually happens. Most of us want the security of the before or the after. We want the comfort of what’s familiar or the clarity of already arriving. But the truth is, the growth, the breakthroughs, the identity shifts all happen in the in between. Think about it… - When you’re learning new habits, there’s a messy middle before they feel natural, right? - When you’re building strength, there’s the burning, shaky reps before the PR, right? - When you’re changing your body & mind, there’s the stretch of surrender before the results, right? - When you’re setting boundaries, there’s the awkward guilt before the freedom, right? - When you’re meal prepping, there’s the Sunday afternoon grind before the weekday relief, right? - When you’re learning to say no, there’s the discomfort before the confidence, right? - When you’re practicing positive self talk, there’s the resistance before the rewiring, right? That in between is downright uncomfortable. THERE IS NO DENYING THIS But it’s also sacred. Because it means you’re not who you once were and you’re becoming who you’re meant to be. So today I want you to sit with this: 👉 Where in your life are you standing at the threshold? 👉 What leap are you in the middle of? 👉 How can you trust the process, even when it feels uncertain? If you feel like sharing your response on any of these with the community that would be super amazing. But please dont feel inclined to do so as this is a personal set of questions. Only if you feel comfortable The in between isn’t a void. It’s the birthplace of transformation. Keep leaping. I am proud of you, -Coach Foss❤️🚀

By prioritizing my health (mind & body) the threshold for me is putting myself as a priority on a daily basis. And remembering each day so that I don’t fall back into self neglect. I’m in the middle of learning how mind and body is related. What needs my body requires. What I need to feed my mind to be in a stable mentality. I will probably always be learning about this so I think it’s a forever learning process. I’m trusting the process of my body to get to a healthier place because I know I didn’t get this way overnight so I’m trusting the process that in time if I keep up I will get to a healthy me and learn to remain there.

If you’ve ever felt like you’re too much…
Too obsessive. Too intense. Too “all or nothing.” Too hard on yourself. You’re not alone. I’ve been there and I used to believe those traits were what held me back. But none of that’s actually the problem. It’s just untapped potential. I used to let perfectionism lead to procrastination. If it couldn’t be perfect, I’d put it off. Now I use that same standard but I apply it to solving problems, refining systems, and raising the bar every time I take action. Because growth doesn’t happen before the mistake… it happens after. So yeah, in a sense, I’m still “all or nothing.” But instead of staying frozen when it’s not perfect… I go ALL IN on my growth. And ALL OUT on the decisions, people, patterns, and environments that don’t support it. I’ve felt imposter syndrome more times than I can count. Now I treat it like a signal... a call to action...to become the version of me who feels qualified. It’s not a reason to stop, it’s a reason to step up and lean in. People pleasing? Still in me. But now I use it as a mirror. If I’m showing up for everyone else but NOT for myself… I course correct. Because that’s not kindness, that’s avoidance. Your flaws aren’t disqualifiers. They’re signals. Opportunities. Reframes that can transform everything...if you let them. This mindset shift helped me: → Build a physique I’m proud of → Grow a business I believe in → Step into the leadership I always wanted → And most importantly… build real, unshakable self respect Not by getting it all right. But by taking ownership of my shit. By using every shortcoming, failure, and setback as data. As feedback. As my path forward. So if you’ve been feeling stuck… It’s 99.99% not because you’re broken. It might just be time to look in the mirror and lead yourself with clarity, not criticism. Because the truth is, you’re not too much. You’re just too powerful to keep living out of alignment. The intensity? The high standards? The all in nature? They were never the problem. They just needed direction.

🍔 Summer BBQ Survival Guide (Without Derailing Your Goals)
It’s BBQ season and the invites are rolling in… But that doesn’t mean your progress has to roll out. The secret? It’s not found through restriction, it’s all about strategy. Here’s how to navigate summer events without falling into the “start fresh Monday” trap: 👇 The Summer Survival Stack 👇 1️⃣ Front Load Your Day with Protein Start with a high protein low carb low fat breakfast (think: egg whites, turkey bacon, protein shake, Greek yogurt, cottage cheese + berries). Why? It keeps you full and reduces the chance of mindless snacking. Plus, it knocks out a big chunk of your protein early, giving you more flexibility for “fun foods” later. Example below on how you could transform breakfast approach. Normal Breakfast: 3 Eggs, 2 Pieces of Toast, 1 Cup of Fruit, 1 Oikos Greek Yogurt BBQ day Breakfast: 200 ml egg whites, 100g turkey breast, Spinnach and Bell peppers, 14g low fat cheese, 1 scoop of protein powder or 1 Oikos greek yogurt Egg whites > Eggs (Save Calories and Fat + More protein) Tons of veggies for volume without the calories Added protein from Turkey and Cheese Save calories and carbs from toast and fruit 2️⃣ Backwards Plan, Forward Think Ask yourself: 👉 “What will help me feel proud after this event?” Visualize how you want to feel walking away, and reverse engineer your day. Know what’s being served? Pre track it in the morning. That awareness alone can keep you feeling way more in control. 3️⃣ One Plate, One Drink, One Dessert Rule Start with protein at the center of your plate and then build around it with veggies and carbs. No endless grazing. One intentional plate. Then, if you want it: one dessert and one drink. Mindful, not miserable. (Pro tip: You don’t have to have dessert just because it’s there. If it’s pie and you don’t love pie, skip it!) 4️⃣ Bring the Macro Friendly Option Own your environment. Show up with something that supports your goals and others’. Think: chicken skewers, shrimp tacos, a Greek yogurt dip, or veggie packed pasta salad.
