The 3-tier system that makes AI remember your business like an employee who's been there for years
The problem? You keep explaining yourself to AI. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. And you’re copying and pasting your work or your context from once place to another instead of relaxing in the sun on the beach or playing pickleball. Every AI tool in the world gets amnesia. They’re born with it. It’s why they’re so useful. And why they’re so frustrating. Too much context it gets overwhelmed. Too little and it can’t perform. Sometimes you do everything right and it still get’s things wrong. But you’re not sure why… Well, turns out I’m not the only one who noticed. AI systems architect Jake Van Clief and I landed on almost the identical fix, independently, using two different tools, to solve two different primary problems. His is coding. Mine is knowledge work. So that tells me this isn’t just a me problem, this is an 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦-𝘸𝘩𝘰-𝘪𝘴-𝘶𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨-𝘈𝘐-𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵-𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘮. I wasn’t trying to build anything specific, just solve my own organization and context problem inside Notion. The result of which is a 3-tiered memory system that tells AI exactly what it needs to know, and where to stop so it doesn’t get overloaded before the work is done. But I’m not sure if this is worth building out so other people can use it too. What do you say? Is that something you’re interested in?

@Kevin Hood I haven't ever seen anyone actually USE a knowledge graph for anything productive, but they do look cool haha. I will have to search for someone using it

@Kevin Hood Oh great, very interesting. Please do keep us updated. I hope it works out
Greetings from Cape Town
My name is Josh. I am a health coach. Although I initially studied medicine and qualified as a doctor in South Africa, I left that and transitioned to what I do now. I am able to do work that better aligns with my values as an independent health coach. I'm in this community because I am in the nascent stage of expanding my business to serve more people, and want to learn how to approach email marketing. I have never used Threads or Meta ads, so I'm looking forward to learning more about that, too. I am in this community specifically because I came across it in newsletter by Kieran Drew and he puts out good stuff; because I like Kevin's writing; and because he responded to an email I sent. We are alive so short, and dead so very long, that it seems a pity to spend what little time we have in a poor state of health. Without your health and vitality, you have nothing. It is the foundation upon which a meaningful and fulfilling life is built. My parting message is this: wherever you are, watch the sun rise tomorrow

@Kevin Hood I have not - on the list 💪
Over-the-shoulder look at my content system in Notion
In this video I walk you through how I analyze what actually works (not just likes, but actual subscribers), how I use AI agents to tag, sort, and surface my best posts. And how I turn a box full of half-thoughts and ideas into 2-3 weeks of content in about an hour without outsourcing my writing. Just leveraging the system I've built over the past three years to do the sorting for me. ***𝗧𝗛𝗜𝗦 𝗩𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗢 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗔𝗩𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗕𝗟𝗘 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝟮𝟰 𝗛𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗦 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬, 𝗡𝗢𝗪 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗗 𝗧𝗢 𝗞𝗡𝗢𝗪𝗟𝗘𝗗𝗚𝗘 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗖𝗟𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗥𝗢𝗢𝗠*** Here's the link: https://www.skool.com/kevin/classroom/c6cd1e91?md=8b4687eb5fef4d589365eb75cbb8c2a2 Tell me what you want to see more of from this video in the comments. 👇

This is very impressive. I really like the over-the-shoulder look - it is exactly what I want to see. Someone who has put together a system, and actually using the system live without polish or edits. Thanks for putting this up. I hope you do more content like this. Could something similar be done in Obsidian? It looks like most people use Notion, I assume because of better functionality and greater capabilities.
