This is helpful, Steve. I’m currently taking a rental-first approach while I build demand, so I’m working through my own true crew-day cost before locking in pricing. Seeing how other operators are calculating theirs is giving me a good benchmark. Appreciate you sharing the numbers.

Good stuff, Darrell. I’m taking a similar rental-first approach while I build demand before committing to machine ownership. I’m working on dialing in my true cost per crew day now, including rental, mobilization, fuel, labor and overhead. Interested to see how the numbers compare once I have mine completely mapped out.
JULY RESULTS: 12 Operators Booked $585,285
Most guys with a skid or excavator and mulcher are stuck under $20k/month, guessing on bids and hoping the phone rings. In July, 12 operators in OPS Accelerator reported $585,285 of land clearing work booked using one simple playbook. A few of them: - @Jt Mahon : $172,500 booked on about $1,200 in ads - @Hayden Fake : $85,675 in his first full month with a machine - @Colby McArthur : crossed first $200,000 month - @John Tyznik : $64k on $785 ad spend - @Josh Grellner : $36k booked - @Cameron Miller : $24k with his new machine I recorded a short video walking through their exact July numbers and what they all did the same. 🎥 Watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JX2qVoo6ifM If you own or control at least one machine and want help doing this in your market: - Comment “GAS” with your last full month’s revenue and your next target - I’ll DM you the OPS Accelerator application to fill out tonight (Friday) - If it's a good fit, I’ve got 1 onboarding slot left before tomorrow morning’s training call Already in Accelerator? Drop your August target below in the comments.

Impressive results. I’m still early in building J. Marshall’s Land Management, so seeing what established operators are doing with the right pricing, lead flow, and systems is exactly why I joined. Looking forward to learning and putting it into practice.

Hey everyone, I’m Josh with J. Marshall’s Land Management. We serve Kentucky and Tennessee and are building a property improvement and land management company with forestry mulching, land clearing, brush clearing, site prep, driveway work, and related property services. I’m currently in the early growth stage and renting heavy equipment as needed while I build enough consistent demand to justify ownership. My biggest focus right now is building a predictable lead pipeline, tightening up estimating and pricing, and creating the systems needed to scale this into a serious operation rather than just buying equipment and staying busy. Looking forward to learning from everyone here and connecting with other operators.
