Being a man means to protect the innocent, not to kill for fun or pleasure. This was one of the earliest memories I have of my vegan journey - I wasn’t vegan yet, but I did not want to take that innocent squirrel’s life. Even if it meant disappointing my dad or not being seen as a “man”. We get to redefine masculinity and protect the lives on innocent beings, no matter the species. Thank you to all of the brave participants who walked up to 207 miles and who came to protest Marshall BioResources - where 60,000 animals (including 20,000 dogs) are bred & experimented on.
