Appearing active on eBay… is this a thing??
Sooo… I’m currently working away from home and my wife is taking care of everything eBay while I’m not there, we had 9 sales from Thursday and Friday, followed by a no sale day yesterday right up until lunchtime today, so I messaged my wife and suggested she printed off the postage labels from Thursday/friday to see if that would kickstart eBay and the algorithm. 3 sales in 2 hours straight after the labels were printed and plenty of new available offers to send out, is this just coincidence or was my theory correct and have we proved it with our test?

@Nick Stevenson hi nick, thanks for your great reply, lots of food for thought there! If I was home all the time I would be able to test these theories consistently, it’s so frustrating operating from afar a lot of the time and having to rely on my wife while I’m away. One day I’ll be able to have the level of consistency eBay wants me to have haha

@Jo Goodchild we often feel like we’re having a quiet day and if we have an early night - say 9pm we often wake up to multiple sales, people doing night shifts bored and impulse buying I imagine 😂😂
Hello, new here... And, has anyone been enrolled on EIS yet?
Hello all, I'm new here, but not to reselling. I'm looking forward to being here! Has anyone been enrolled onto eBay International Shipping yet? If so, how has it gone? I'm still waiting for my email. Looks good.

We are on a private eBay account still, can we use the EIS? We don’t currently ship internationally but from what we’ve heard regards EIS it’s certainly something we want to be involved with. Can we? If so how do we go about it please?
Introduction to me!
Hi All, nice to meet you and be a part of this community. My name is Dan. I like to think I'm reasonably experienced when it comes to e-commerce but I'm new to reselling. I ran a print on demand business that sold across Etsy, eBay, TikTok and my own Shopify store for several years which at it's peak, turned over close to £70K p/a allowing me to quit my corporate job, however, in the past 18 months I've scaled this right back due to thinning margins and the stricter seller policies on the platforms, not to mention the time it takes to create a design and get it to market. I went back in to the corporate world at the end of 2024 and stumbled upon reselling earlier this year. I did a lot of research and in June, took the plunge and ordered a £120 box from Messina to start me on my journey and since then I’ve been sniping on Vinted. I’ve sold 87 items so far this month with a profit margin of 49% and feel like things are really taking off. I reinvest every penny, I don't plan to take any money out of this till the end of 2028. My biggest challenges are identifying the right price to list at and cross-selling to eBay and Depop. Vinted has so far accounted for almost all my sales but I know it's a ticking time bomb! I've sold 6 items on eBay but other than that, I can't seem to succeed on there even with double digit promoted listing percentages and using AI to optimise titles and descriptions. It's the same for Depop, although I'm less bothered by this. Big shout out to behind the listings podcast and Sully who I’ve been following for some time! Cheers!

Welcome mate, this is a great platform to pick the brains of the pro resellers and there are interesting topics covered each day. It sounds like you are smashing it and you’re going into Q4 with some really good momentum. If you can maintain that profit margin when you start to scale your business, I don’t think you’ll be in the corporate world for too long again. My wife and I have been selling on eBay for 1 year nearly to the day and are starting to scale up where time allows. We look forward to following your journey!
Auction house haul - vintage games YouTube video
Morning campers, I’ve just uploaded a new YouTube video of an auction house lot we bought, containing vintage toys and games. Could any of you take the time to play it to the end, drop a like and a comment, just to try and give it a little momentum. It would be really appreciated 👌 Cheers, Keith https://youtu.be/O0YvK1UfXl8?is=XPC6ZRAZg7_JCNYy

@Kevin Johnson hi Kevin, yeah I’m quite excited about the hand painted chess set, I’ll try to update you if/once it sells. There’s a further 2 boxes from the same lot so I’ll do a follow up video. Thanks fo watching, it’s really appreciated 👍🏼
What a way to start paydays sales off 💸
Didn’t think when I accepted offer they would have paid, just need to make sure I don’t get scammed 😂
