Singing was always a part of life for me. My dad directed the church choir, played the saxophone in worship service, and my mom was a choir member, plus we sang Sunday school songs on the way, and our house was full of recordings that ranged from praise and worship music, to Christian musical dramas for kids, to classic Broadway soundtracks.
